Lunch should have its own thread

These were from the Polish shop. They're really good, eh? I remember getting some chips in Hamburg on a school trip many years ago, and having my mind blown by the addition of paprika. Simpler times

I found currywurst flavour crisps in the shops the other day. OH loves them. They are similar to the paprika ones but a bit more tangy. My favour so far are ones that taste just like Frazzles

I like the peanut flavour ones! They're bloody addictive but luckily come in huge sacks

I find a need a drink with the peanut ones, they are very sticky. And I'm normally disappointed that they aren't wotsits :D The perfect drink that goes with them though is lemon and cactus ice tea  German food is :hmm: and

:D I spent some time in Bavaria and can concur. Luckily I stayed with a Korean family, whose cooking gave me a break from the horrors of white sausages with jam etc.

We always try to go to Germany during Spargelzeit, Thimble Queen otherwise we have to live on salad and chips :D

Hamburg is pretty good for veggie and vegan food. There are a few places that do meat and vegan and they are decent options as well. Pizza Bande and Jim Burrito are my faves. There was another place that did amazing seitan gyros but it closed down. You can get decent vegan stuff in the supermarkets too. You don't have to go to the special shops like Veganz to get stuff. Veganz is awesome though :)

Yeah, Hamburg's great, but we normally drive over, with a few stops in between! We'll come and say hello if we come over again. We stay in a weird campsite that's like someone's front garden :D

Oh that would be lovely. We like having visitors :) Is the campsite in Blankenese? They have a nice one there by the beach. It has the added bonus of being next to a lighthouse and there are also some shipwrecks. One is a submarine and you can get a pretty good look at it at low tide

For lunch today I had quesadilla again with cheese, jalapeños, habanero sauce, coriander and a little smoked paprika.

Nah, it's this shit one :D Camping-Buchholz in Hamburg Pretty central, though.

I just had a cheese toastie made with that weird smoked water bread from M&S. Then some dark chocolate.

Brown seedy bread with pâté and cheese spread (not together, although that would be nice), lettuce, tomato, cup of coffee. A kiwi fruit.

Had the same yesterday and the day before too.

Haggis, mash, neeps and carrots

Oh jelly. Tried to find haggis here but was unsuccessful, unfortunately.

Today for lunch I had a predictable cheese and cucumber wrap. The cucumber slices were extra chunky this time and I also had some sweet Bayern mustard in it
