Mini vegan german sausages fried up with smoked paprika, mushrooms, spring onions, black beans and baked beans all mixed together. Washed down with a Jever.

Made my mum scallops (her favourite), pan-fried, with baked sweet potatoes, leeks and salsa prezzemolo. This involves a small fuckton of flat-leaved parsley, the juice of a lemon, two cloves of garlic, some anchovy paste (or anchovies) and a load of olive oil, and is amazing.

It was a sauce I reconstructed from fairly distant memory and we ended up doing some research. It's one of those dishes that has many different versions, like folk songs. There's a non-fishy one involving capers and cornichons, and one involving hard-boiled eggs. Like folk songs, salsa prezzemolo also merges into other European sauces entirely like sauce gribiche, salsa verde, pesto etc.

Given that's a 7 litre stockpot, I reckon that's about 6kg of game casserole.

Suspect some freezing in will be sensible!

£4.49 vastly substandard "New York deli" sandwich from a "pumpkin transport cafe," and a £0.69 Apple.

A £0.69 Apple! Cheeky fucks.

I like fishcakes. I'm trying not to eat animal products atm. I can manage without most meaty things, esp bc they don't have proper bacon here but I do miss fish.
Fishcakes are mostly mash anyway ;) I'm kidding. I reckon I could do without meat if i still had seafood.

packet of weird walkers cheese toastie and worcester sauce crisps (not recommended). Leftover macaroni with parmesan.
