Lunch should have its own thread

vegetable lasagne. from the staff restaurant. unfortunately the aubergine was massively under cooked. gross :(
Ewww - I love aubergine but there's nowt soapier than when it's undercooked. Bleurgh!

I had leftover fuck-off-massive veggie stew. With properly cooked big chunks of aubergine in it ;)

Out of habit really - not really hungry but I had sweet potatoes to eat up.
I find baking them leaves them a bit over-sweet so I'm nuking some in a bit of water - in their skins, dirt and all - and will probably have taco beans with them...
 
My favourite sort of lunch. Curried chickpeas, leaks and courgettes with roast cauliflower and red pepper, carrots, celery, bread, salad leafs tossed with olive oil, lime juice and garlic, avocado and hummus.

Today I'm having chiCKen, spinach, avocado, mixed seeds and lemon juice. And coffee when I get off the train.

I had chick pea and red pepper pakora in a wrap with lettuce, rocket, avocado and lime pickle.

I have to get my calories from somewhere while I can't eat carbs :oops::hmm:

Today's lunch is more children, with spinach, avocado, beetroot and nuts.
 
A brie and cranberry sandwich with loads of salad and a side salad on the side with a spoonful of coleslaw.
Christmas cheese needs using up but have logged it all in mfp and it wasn't so bad.
 
A butty of griddled courgette, cherry tomatoes, pesto mayo and lemon juice in sourdough baguette.
 
Spicy chicken, feta, avocado, spinach, green peppers and green beans with lemon juice and black pepper.
 
Since I forgot to bring a second can of diet lentil soup today I'm having a whole 250g of brown rice for a total of 475 kcals.
If this fills me up properly, I may stick with it - hopefully alternating with wheat berries and buckwheat.
Chomping on baby spinach to up my greens.
 
Day off so made a healthy lunch. Avocado to start. Quinoa with onions, cabbage, tofu weiner, garlic and thyme for mains.
 
I was sort of hoping to skip lunch, but I'm actually a bit peckish so I'm having a can of chickpeas and a can of ratatouille.
 
Can of diet soup
250g of wholegrain rice
two bananas.

I'm testing the theory that carbs don't make you fat. :hmm:

Just under 500kcals.
 
Would anyone really eat just a half can and nothing else ?
It makes a decent 383 kcal lunch when mixed with brown rice.
Darn I forgot the spinach in the fridge :p
