Lunch should have its own thread

Leftover rigatoni, doused in chopped sundried toms in olive oil, chopped black olives, chopped anchovies, chilli oil, and a smattering of parmesan over the lot. Plus babyleaf salad.
Fuck me, this was good!! So good, in fact, I'm gonna do it again, but on purpose this time. I was only using up leftover pasta!
 
one large avocado

one head of broccoli - 35p in Aldi at the moment.
half a bag of Tuscan kale
nuked for 10 mins with a little water.
ground flaxseed, tahini, soy sauce (shoyu)
nuts and dates.

I'm home sick today, so the diet has gone somewhat off the rails.
 
Hit the salad bar at work today - had a big salad of sweet potato, avocado, artichoke hearts, couscous, mixed peppers, beetroot, sweetcorn, chickpeas, courgette, mixed beans, lentils, rocket and lettuce. Was soooo good.
 
I wish we had one of those!
I had veggie sushi from Sainsburys, but it was 'new and improved', i.e. had rubbery egg on 2 pieces, so it went in the bin. I ate the pickled ginger, though.
 
Since one of them has already rotted, I nuked one of my few remaining knobbly summer squashes - 5 minutes each side.
Chopped in half and ate the contents - seeds and all with tahini and soy sauce and a can of Greek butter beans with added ground linseed.

I used to like the salad bar at my old employer's place, until I was having lunch with a colleague who found a hair in her couscous salad. :(

tbh I've never understood the squeamishness people have about consuming a human hair, particularly given the contents of sausages...

btw - baguette with hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, black olive tapenade, spinach and regular tomatoes.

Just had a glorious bowl of cottage cheese, cinnamon and peanut butter but am still hungry so gonna have a big old slice of roast beef which is leftover from Sunday.
