Lunch should have its own thread

Some jamon serrano, then smoked salmon mushroom and onion pasta leftovers then a nice big bowl of chorizo spud and lentil stew.

Couple of glasses of red wine, glass of sherry, chocolate and then a coffee. Mmm quite used to big spanish lunch and need a decent amount nowadays.

Figured since im not working today might as well go whole hog tho! Time for a nap now...

Rebelda

I had ful medames, soft boiled eggs and a nutty salad with raw broccoli and quinoa, with antipasti (red peppers, artichokes and olives) and loads of cheeses *fat*

I had saag aloo

Given that I had saag paneer for tea, I reckon I've won pretty hard today.

I had the other prosciutto and gruyere chicken breast from last night's tea, a pot of spiced fruit couscous, cucumber, avocado, cherry toms, orange pepper, spinach, watercress and rocket.

Tomorrow will be grilled mackerel, the other pot of couscous, lemon & coriander houmous, cucumber, cherry toms, beetroot, spinach, watercress and rocket.

I had toast with peanut butter, then did fried potatoes with a fried egg and baby plum tomatoes for my son :hmm: ....feel like I diddled myself a bit there!

Mixed-bean chilli and rice - the leftovers from last night's tea, hotted up in the work microwave. Whilst I was eating it a colleague came down wanting to know what the 'delicious' smell wafting up the stairs was and complaining good-naturedly that I'd made him hungry and he was going to have to go out to the sandwich shop.

I made a salad of quinoa, feta cheese, cucumber, grilled red pepper, green olives, walnuts, artichokes and a generous sprinkling of Tabasco. And the crusts from my son's PB sandwich.

Watercress, spinach, rocket, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot and "lightly smoked" trout.

It's been a week of trad lunches for me, sanger+crisps+fruit+a treat. Today was roule on bread, have grapes and banana cake to follow. S&v crisps throughout.

I had broad bean and mint falafel in a brown pitta with mango pickle. Dates and chocolate buttons after.

Before I forget and in case you don't know, Hotel Chocolat are doing dairy free milk-type chocolate (don't know if it's just for Easter though) :)

Same again! But with tiny broccoli florets (I've just discovered raw broccoli - lovely and much less farty tasting) and sunflower seeds, and no walnuts ( :( )
