Lunch should have its own thread

There was a line all the way outside gregs, so I kept walking and found a nice little independent bakery. Cost a bit more but I didn't have to wait and it was a damn fine steak slice.

Lunch

Aldi generic baked beans, a can of chick peas and the left-over bit of the loaf-before-last toasted, tahini, cranberry sauce.
:p

A tin of Heinz Lentil soup since my digestive system decided to turn itself on it's arse a few days ago. It's always been my favourite flavour, as a wee bairn my mother used to cut up a slice of bread into little squares and let it soak up all the soup before I'd dig in. Can't do that right now...wouldn't be able to handle the bread. So depressed :(

Baked spud slathered in butter, most of a packet of Moroccan Medley couscous, a dollop of peri peri sauce, a dollop of Sood's Jamaican Habanero sauce (hot! mmmm), followed by a coffee and 3 apple and cinnamon flapjack slices.

2 large Portobello mushrooms stuffed with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, some wholemeal breadcrumbs and aubergine. A medium sized grilled chicken breast, skinless/boneless with alittle sweet chilli sauce and a pack of ''Sushi'' from M&S :). So nice to be eating real food again.

They look like ricepaper rolls :)
It's Mooli ribbons, according to packaging. Had a few before, they're delicious. Beetroot/pork/noodles/carrot/spring onion/lettuce and beans with a chilli dipping sauce. £3.50 though :( but after being sick for awhile I decided to just fuck it and treat myself.

They may be £3.50 but they are delicious. I sometimes have a pack for lunch when I'm on a fast day and I feel like treating myself.

If I had the money I'd eat my whole daily calorie allowance with them. The beef one is the nicest, then the pork and then the tuna.

I'll be having 4 large ratatouille stuffed mushrooms and a large plain pretzel. It's been far too long since I last ate a proper size pretzel and not the tiny snack ones, looking forwards to it :)

Wholemeal 3-seed toast with a scraping of Dijon mustard, twangy cheddar cheese melted on top, then a fried egg on top of that, served with three little silvery strips of oily salty anchovy. And a cup of strong coffee with hot frothy milk

Having a lovely little plate of fanned avacadoe with black pepper, a dollop of hummus topped with ground walnuts, serrano ham, a trio of stuffed olives, cubes of manchego cheese, a glass of Tempranillo and a few squares of 85% organic chocolate for afters. Lovely.
