On another site someone linked to his page on a whodatedwho website - I won't link directly as there's some pretty dodgy stuff written on there about him. But that was all from 11 months ago and some very serious allegations also lots of stupid stuff which undermines the credibility somewhat.

The girls are unbelievably cruel to each other (I'm reading posts from two years ago) and the ones who are sleeping with him seem to be just hoping they're the one he stays with. There are allegations of multiple pregnancies and everything, and other musicians are mentioned (Pendulum). I guess the groupie scene in the 70s was not so different a time after all.

I would add a bit more detail to the historical internet messages angle but as the law is proceeding on this one I suppose I better wait.
Lets just say that its pretty hard for us to distinguish between random madness on the net and someone who actually knew him speaking out anonymously, hindsight is a wonderful thing. But given what is out there it is a bit surprising he didnt get called to account sooner.

Reading that stuff it comes across like a vendetta against him. Maybe thats because it would be easier to believe than the awful stuff that he's been accused of. I really hope it turns out to be untrue. Hideous doesn't cover it.

It may be both - a vendetta that was not by a random stranger and was based on truth.
It is one of the few things I've come across outside politics & war that I would use the word depraved to describe. How much he actually did or intended to do versus going round telling people he wanted to do is open to question at this point, but even so, ugh x 1000.
