HI this is sojourners daughter, now excuse me luv, but the Lost Prophets are in fact NOT a boyband, i understand that you have your opinion but I have mine as well, and I don't agree that they're a boyband, at all, fair enough they are a band who happen to be all MEN, so therefor NOT a boyband, and also, they aren't like Take That or any shite like that, they're just a talented band who have a different style of music. I severly doubt you've heard any of their best songs either, so you can't really judge them if you've only listened to a few of their songs, so next time before you go judging other bands, listen to a full album or two by them and then come back with an opinion that you can actually back up.riot sky said:Ask her if they're a boyband and get back to me

hair doos and moaning about 'tommorow' and a train and stuff..
EMO cuz your too gay to rock.
sojourner said:Hahaaa! I am fully aware of what I've turned into! But it's a twist on the old theme, whereby I'm not saying 'that's not music, you can't make out the words'...instead I'm saying 'that's not punk, you can make out all the words, they know how to play their instruments, and they're a bit bloody neat and tidy n all'

She can't be arsed to post owt now..glued to the telly But she reckons that's an alright replyIam said:I have both their first two albums.
They're not Linkin Park dreadful, but there's a lot of filler in there, I reckon, amongst the songs which are... well, alright.
Heh - yay, you're down wit da yoof n that now then, eh? You can be in the 'cool old bastards club' now if you want. I've got some badges somewhereIam said:Yay!
*grooves*
They were good live, when I saw them. I was invited to go to the Hammersmith one with my mate, but it's a bit of a stretch as I'm not that much of a fan. Still, if you see a late 20s punk girl there, that's probably her...
sojourner said:Hi sojourners daughter AGAIN lol Look, just because someone happens to be emo, does not make them gay at all, and besides, why even bother labeling people? It just shows how immature a person can be to give someone a label, it's just categorising, and there's just no need to categorise people, because it's not like you would go around saying "Oh there's the gay one" and "Oh there's an emo". To be honest, people who catagorise other people are rather sad...
What's your point?loud 1 said:oh deary me.
sojourner said:How did your kid enjoy this aurora? I've just rang me daughter, they're still playing, and apparently it's 'fucking mad mum, and we've moshed soooo much' Awww
TheLostProphet said:It all went wrong six months after they released thefakesoundofprogress and Visible Noise asked that they remix the album to bring it more into line with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park, something the band talked about with enthusiasm on all the radio shows and telly interviews.
How they missed all of their original fanbase slapping their foreheads at them I will never know. The remix was more Americano bobbins and since then they've had the odd decent track and an awful lot of balls. The new one rooftops is terrible, they used to have a bit of bite about them.
Shame really *looks at username*
aurora_green_jnr will probably have a ball though, good on her!
rob fade said:Wasn't that (the remix album) all to do with Sony buying out visible noise, just so sony could have Lost Prophets?
Aw, can feel very strange as they get older and you're in more situations like this.aurora green said:Well she absloutely loved them.
I did end up having to collect her in the end.
As I arrived, there was this huge crowd outside, and fearing I was late I barged through them searching for her, before I realised that they were all mums and dads, with the same anxious look on there faces, it was classic, and quite sobering for me. I was one of the cardi brigade who'd stayed up especially late to escort their shiney young things home..
I felt old.
Anyways, she seems fairly unscathed by the experience....
TheLostProphet said:summat like that - pants remix though
rob fade said:I've only got the original, so cannot comment.
I'm a big fan, saw them last monday. Ankle biters everywhere! But i reckon its a good thing having bands like LP, hopefully they'll turn some of the younger fans on to older bands that have a bit more, credibility, if you like. Tool, Machine Head, etc.
He isn't...he just thinks he isIam said:Nice of you to speak for everyone, though.
