London mayor What has he done??

I am just wondering what good sad dik khan has actually done whilst becoming a mayor?
Any clues?
Housing promise broken
Free fares for children gone
Free fares for the elderly gone
Pollute our roads? Yes very much so by causing traffic jams that make journey times double
Being a role model? No. Preaching us to go green and he get driven in high gas omitting 4x4s and whilst many will loose jobs and livelihoods he goes and gets a brand new Range Rover?

What happen to the bus drivers son? Made the roads dangerous for buses and cars with the useless poles in the middle of the roads.

Total waste of time space and money. Our money!

It doesn't assume the OP is a bigot, it's generally true and pretty much the only thing Khan does well, even if it's not deliberate. Don't tell me that rambling on and ignoring the OP is not one of our freedoms under the Magna Carta.

It’s like someone made an AI out of a taxi drivers rants that’s why.

Sadiq is very very dull and doesn’t do much but he gets some people very upset out of all proportion to his actions compared to his predecessor who did a lot, badly, and there’s only one reason for that.

Besides if your driving in London your doing it wrong and you’ve no right to bitch about traffic. Traffic is what happens when you condense a population of millions into an area 25 miles square.

Khan provokes a fairly virulent reaction for someone who is, at worst, a bit of a rubbish mayor.

Outside of the OP here there's the fact he regularly comes in for a far greater number of personal attacks from far-right mentalists than lots of other boring Labour centrists. I think he's a fairly naff politician for the most part - moderately well-spoken but dealing primarily in vague soundbites, but there's clearly a vitriol directed towards him that's a lot worse than anything dished out to other Labour politicians.

it's on its way, not quite happened yet - latest is after half term week.

it's part of the tory government post Covid 'bailout' of TFL (like the congestion charge increase) which the tories are trying to convince everyone is mayor khan's fault.

TFL's finances have been struggling for some time because one of mayor johnson's last acts was to cook up a deal with chancellor osborne to withdraw the 700m quid a year central government grant to TFL, and to stop any central government funding from london residents' 'road tax' from being passed on to TFL for maintaining roads.

Had Londoners elected what number 10 considered the 'right' choice of mayor, I suspect that the new mayor would have been able to arrange a new deal...
