London Anarchist Bookfair 2023/24

Does no-one remember the aborted debate between Workers Power and the Spartacist League in Birmingham in 1982? It was one of the key events of the age. WP would not let the SL put up a literature table at the back of the hall. SLers tried to forcefully impose their table.

I was condemned in an internal meeting for suggesting that we should have backed down.

ICC and Rebel City papersales outside Rich Mix.

Busy inside. Sparrows Nest selling their dupes for £1 per centimetre.

Seems quite chill all round. There is an incredible mad insurrectionist banner covering one wall. No balaclavas yet alas.
Sounds like Neil Gaiman curated Bookfair 2023.

No, I think the combination of it being the ACG and ACN and about trans and Ukraine (with 'genocide' used which could relate to either) and it's people on Twitter who write in Jabberwocky like sentences makes the whole thing very hard to make head or tails of. That and much of it is all made-up of course.
I think Jabberwocky Jackanory will be my new go-to phrase for these types of shenanigans in future :D

Sadly, the only person I know well who was in 80s Workers Power passed away recently, but friend of these boards Paul Mason might well remember it?

Jabberwocky Jackdaw Jackanory, surely?
