Liverpool FC 2016/17: A Kloppalypse Now

Not the end of the world. It's what this seasons going to be, as long as we three or there abouts in May then that's all that counts.

Just enjoy the ride, this seasons gonna be an absolute belter!

Youngest ever Liverpool goalscorer eh? I think I was at the match where Owen set the record broken tonight (Wimbledon away, night Man U won the title) unless he scored before that. Not sure. Only 17 though, not bad at all. :)

Seen him play for the unders this year where he has scored some crackers. Have some great players coming through the youth setup in general so bodes well for us. Mind you Leeds should've put away at least one of their chances.

I'll take the win anyway, one more game away from another day out at Wembley lets do it this time long overdue a piece of silverware!

What position does Woodburn play?

I've read both BBC reports on the match and there is no mention.

ETA, just found out he plays a "forward" role.

thanks for liking the post but not informing me!

Visiting my parents and girlfriend in a "Free Food Double Header" this afternoon:
Arrive at mums, 2-0 inside 20 mins can relax.
On the way over to the OH check on the bus, they get a goal back, I get a little nervous.
Get to OH's have some lunch check again, 3-1 games over, crack on with breaking bad.
Finish an episode, quick check whilst she goes to the loo, fucking 4-3!!!

Don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Best entertainment of tonight for me was two blues fans kicking off with each other in the Upper Gladwys and somebody shouting over from a few rows away..."oi leave him alone he's my milkman" :) we were shit in the second half

Barry with a new contract is 30% of the player that Barry looking for a new contract is. Also how Deulofeu and Davies were left out totally is a mystery that only Koeman can solve.

Quite convincing there in the end although I did think 'Oh fuck, here we go' when we were a goal down. They're always a handful, Stoke, and I remember that right hammering they gave us not so long ago. Still good result that keeps the pressure on the other teams at the top. Thought Lallana looked really sharp today. We're gonna need him playing really well while Coutinho's out.

It wasn't a particularly pretty game but it was good to see us get the tactics right. Tight, not-much-in-it 6 pointers have been our downfall in recent years.
