I've been to Liverpool a few times and fancy another trip on the train for a weekend some time between October this year and March next year and catching a gig whilst I'm there.
I've been to The Cavern (of course) and The Grand Central Hall.
My musical tastes vary (mostly rock, folk/punk, greebo etc.), but I'm up for anything that isn't dance/rave. Also, I find any O2 Academy is expensive and samey whatever city you're in.
Any places you recommend easily reachable from the city centre?
