The replies there are illustrative of the gulf between the varied communities. The extremists on all sides and we Sikhs have them too, have succeeded in driving a wedge between us all. Tons of whataboutism, loads of ethnic slurs etc etc.

This Leicester situation, as in the specific unrest, will die away soon. The police will restore order, there'll be meaningless words from community leaders about harmony but no will to fuck off the RSS (or Sikh Youth UK or any Islamic extremist group, we're all as guilty there). It's all so pointless as it'll kick off again, probably a Gurdwara will be attacked and then we're drawn in, we're a target for the RSS as well.
