On properly reading the article I’m more surprised that Reeves has already co-created a comic book series! I want it to be good purely based on Reeves being (from what I’ve heard) a throughly decent human being.

How odd. Mieville’s strongest suits are original concept and atmosphere, his weakest probably plotting and editing, so he’s not an obvious choice to adapt someone else’s comic, whether that person is famous or not.
