Is Capitalism an Illness?

The exploitative society, based on the dominance of the bourgeoisie, for instance, which imposed themselves by violence onto their yesterday's ally, the proletariat etc. etc. etc. So, by its very nature it lacks legitimacy.

The subsequent developments, of course, need to be carefully thought through, so we see why does so many a working man and woman stick by the system and keep electing their class enemies...

Incidentally, today that part of the struggle is at a very low tide, in the working class - but the other end certainly knows what good class war brings them... and they keep at it - vigorously!

All means necessary deployed...

Here's your toy, you naughty boy... :D And now play nicely - no more throwing things outta pram in a temper tantrum, OK?:D Now, there's a good boyo...:D

What, have I burst another one of your ideological bubbles....?!? Awwwww... Now, now, no need to cry...

Parasite

An organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host.

One who habitually takes advantage of the generosity of others without making any useful return.

One who lives off and flatters the rich; a sycophant.

:)

Why would the majority allow some minority, or elite, to treat them in that way?

Obfuscation of the operation of the mechanism? Distortion via media, culture and PR/propaganda? Presentation as it being the "natural order of things"?

If it's human nature, then it would be found in all humans all of the time.

And that ain't the case.

It's found in most humans most of the time.

Maybe not in business but in wanting more or the best. Unions want more for the workers (Themselves). If they were so anti they would be out demanding more donations given to charity and leave the wage rise so it can be sent to bangladesh. Do we see that? no, but i bet you want more cash so you can buy a better car or a good stereo.

It is human nature to want more. It's just that some are better at getting it.

It is human nature to want more. It's just that some are better at getting it.

Or rather, for some it's easier to get more.

But nor need it be human nature. So suppose it was just that, from their present knowledge of world, people generally can't find enough reasons not to want more?

Thus a world could be imagined where everyone knew that when they die they would be reborn as another human being anyhere on Earth. In which case the most reasonable policy would be for wealth and health facillities to be distributed so that all human beings enjoy the best possible conditions of life.
