How perfect is your car?

No, we need those. Also, I hope you've been behaving yourself and keeping your carbon footprint low. Remember I'm paired with you on the emissions sharing scheme so I'm going to need you to make a few sacrifices if I'm to buy the Jaguar. It's a bit juicy.
About that Jaguar.

In a scenario where I was going to get a car, at the top of my list would be a Citroen or a Jaguar.

That's based largely on aesthetics and various cultural factors. Unfortunately, modern car aesthetics are, on the whole, terrible. That of course is inevitable given the kind of people who have tended to buy cars since the 80s and the politics that became prominent then. Anyway, Citroen and Jaguar managed to continue producing good-looking cars into the 90s. As far as Jaguar are concerned, the models you mention are a bit borderline - earlier ones are better, and are what I would go for - but they'll probably do, for someone like you.

I reckon you wouldn't go for a Citroen.

A Jaguar though, you should be aware, comes with some level of endorsement from me.

Factor that into your decision making process as you see fit.

Just bought a new (well, 18 year old) car and it's spotless. Owned by the elderly mum of a bloke who worked at the dealership, driven about 1000 miles a year and kept in a garage the rest of the time. Drives like a new car, or what I assume a new car would be like to drive.

The GSA was very interesting but I dont think I'd have one.
Shite grandad's cars. A mate's parents had a Pallas back in the 80s and it was a shed even then. Best you could say for it was that it never got nicked at any of the raves we took it to and the police were wholly uninterested in giving you a pull on the way home.

I've seen evidence that another urban75 poster was on a train going through Guildford on Saturday too. Using public transport when other means were available to them.

One who lives in the area and cycled there to collect his dog from the vet?

O I fucking love ours. Actually starts every.single.time. Has a heater and windows which open and close. A cd player which doesn't randomly eject stuff, very comfy seats, somewhere to put a cup ...but mostly starts every time.
I am less thrilled with the shiny sticker on the outside ( XLT 4X4) I tried to prise it off and got shouted at by sweetheart.
