How much does full-head highlights cost?

I thought it might be nice to get highlights for the summer. I checked the prices at my usual salon and they say it's from £95. WTF? Is it usually that much?

Be careful though, lots of women avoid hair dyes and even grow out their hair while they are pregnant due to concerns about toxicity.

I know. The risks are minimal.

Shop around defo, mine costs me £50 with cut, blow dry and straightening. She's a mobile hairdresser so she has no salon to pay for, and she's excellent, never done a bad job!

It is also cheaper if you are prepared to go as a "model" to a salon which has trainees. That's how I used to get my hair done when I was broke.
