How are you finding the tournament so far ?

We are over half way through the group stages and personally I'm finding this years tournament to be one of the most entertaining I've watched in a long time,

What about you ? Also what are your highs and lows ?

Great tourney so far,no really poor games yet,always preferred the Euros to the WC,the football tends to be of a higher quality and it's done and dusted in 3 weeks,sadly think the expansion to 24 teams will dilute the comp,will end up as bloated as the World Cup

I'm enjoying it. I could live without the constant drooling over Spain by all commentators - their style is admirable and effective, but I find it a little boring to watch - but even the Tyldsley-Townsend double act hasn't fucked me off too much (yet).

Some "name" players haven't turned up; Sneijder, RVP, Ronaldo, Podolski, Eriksen, but then they've all got potentially four games left to buck their ideas up.

Yeah, it's been really good so far. Enjoying a lot so far. Slightly ruined for me as work is only allowing me to catch the odd half on the radio and highlights

Some really good and battling games already. Some teams as expected but some upsets. England not special but half good and likely to qualify is an obvious boost. Shame to see some violence/racism but also good to see action being taken and (I may be wrong here?) so far the English behaving? If only they could sing like the Irish.

Fascinating to see how it will all pan out now. Russia looked strong but are gone. Will Germany/Spain win or will there be an upset?

No team from the remaining three groups is guaranteed to go through yet are they?

Group B is good tomorrow.

Germany look strong for at least qualification if not 9 points, but have to play Denmark who are shit or bust now.

Portugal level with Denmark but up against Netherlands who have nothing to lose and playing for pride.

I have a feeling Croatia will Spain more problems than people expect on Monday. They've been pretty good in both games, have an excellent coach and I think Spain were pretty flattered by Ireland ... Italy was more their true level I reckon.

Yeah - I could see croatia getting a draw agasint Spain, and Ireland cant be that shit in every game (can they?) so Italy might only beat them 2-0 and not go through.

Germany will cruise agasint Denmark, whereas poutugal will frustrate the dutch.

France are most likely to win group D - although sweden might rediscover their 'hard to beat' mojo - I think England have a decent chance of beating a fairly average Ukraine (pressure's off, confidence up, Rooney returns).

Anyhows I rekon q final will look like this -

Czech Republic vs Pourtugal.
Spain vs England.
Germany vs Greece.
France vs Croatia.

I've enjoyed the bits I have watched but cannot stand the tv commentary.. I'd listen to five live but the option to do that on beeb means its not in hd
