Wandsworth has no weight limit. It's very strong. Hugely important for lorries. It can get you from south to north and also from north to south, which is more than Hammersmith Bridge can do...plus there's a 24 hour McShits at the southern end
No idea what that bridge looks like - but either way it's just a bridge across a manky river so it doesn't matter what it looks like.Disagree. Look at how miserable and depressing Wandsworth Bridge is, especially when compared to Hammersmith, Albert or Tower.
It's not manky. How dare you.No idea what that bridge looks like - but either way it's just a bridge across a manky river so it doesn't matter what it looks like.
The river always looks filthy every time I've seen it - looks like an open sewer. It's not manky. How dare you.
Just suspended mud in solution. It's so clean babies can drink it.The river always looks filthy every time I've seen it - looks like an open sewer.

Paint it in a combination of lurid orange, yellow, pink and green - would cheer the area up no end. I've just did a rough experiment with Paint, and it looks great in brighter colours.Hideous side panel colours. Anything else would be an improvement.

That proposed ferry will have to be some distance from the bridge. Not much water under the bridge at low tide. Its frequently unnavigable .Task Force has had their first meeting

Ferry service in the new year apparently
What they'll need to do is construct a pier on either side like at Putney Bridge for the RB6 clippers. That extends far enough out to manage low tide.
In fact, why not just kill two birds and make it a permanent fixture and have the RB6 go to Hammersmith?
And have it run at weekends
Just make each pier go half way and do away with the ferry...
I didn't save it - sorry. You can give it a go and paint in whatever colours you like and post the picture.Let's see it!
