Ill try that one, I normally go to the green grocers on Newington green huge selection reasonably priced and good quality.that's the one - cash only! they could do with some better apples tbf - but apart from that - top notch
The one on Church street opposite Whole Food is bloody great - and surprisingly ok priced.Ill try that one, I normally go to the green grocers on Newington green huge selection reasonably priced and good quality.

The Dolphin has had its opening hours slashed by Hackney Council
The Dolphin Hackney
The Dolphin has had its opening hours slashed to 1.30am by Hackney Council after a review prompted by police complaints about rising thefts at the venue.
Councillors told the legendary Mare Street pub that it will be forced to stop serving at 1am and close half an hour later – a three hour reduction on its previous curfew.
The pub’s capacity was also reduced by 150 to 570 people. Councillors also said no more than 25 people should be allowed in the pub’s garden during the week and no more than 50 at weekends.
The Dolphin will now able to appeal the decision during which time it will be allowed to continue trading as usual but pub manager Kay Underdown said a decision had not yet been made.
Councillors made their decision despite claims from the pub that reducing its hours and capacity would be “disproportionate” and “financially devastating”.
Sgt Hicks from Hackney police told councillors that The Dolphin had topped a table of Hackney pubs with the highest number of reported thefts in July and August this year.
“The main crime issue was, and still is, theft. Violence is relatively low,” he said, adding that 80% of the thefts occurred after 1am.
my studio is opposite, and I've rarely witnessed any serious trouble over the last three years or so, just a bit of drunken shouting.i'd say there was remarkably little actual trouble (ie violent trouble) there considering the hours and the location. the bouncers seemed to do a good job. haven't been for ages though.
