no it was definitely Mr Reilly blah
Its definitely Mr Reillys strawman.
anyways the upshot of his interview. He still fully supports the PSNI and all the other British structures and encourages all his supporters to do likewise. However hes hinting very heavily that the Boston College project is a nefarious British intelligence plot . Which of course logically means by extension the people behind it, who he names..MacIntryre and Moloney.. are British intelligence agents .
note the different paint but identical handwriting
Id say MacIntyre is now in a certain amount of physical danger . Theres definitely a backlash being prepared but its certainly not against the British forces.

The Falls road seems now to be covered in this courtesy of his supporters and the line taken by the spin doctors.

Such a pity that Jean McConville's family had to see that pathetic me fein broadcast last night. And that veiled threats were made against her son. Will they ever see justice? I sincerely hope so.
Mcintyre and Moloney played their role - however the most interesting party to the project - Mr Paul Bew, who apparently instigated the project is a Unionist revisionist historian and a former advisor to David Tremble. You forget to mention him.
this is complete bollocks anyway . Price never even named Adams as responsible for McConvilles killing in the Boston tapes, thats a myth thats been proven false.
I have Bew's copy of From Max Weber on the shelf behind me. Picked it up in the late lamented North Street Arcade bookshop.
The armed struggle was going nowhere when the british army is planning emergancy tours 5 years in advance its a strange sort of "emergancy"
The gfa is better than another couple of hundred dead plus millions of property damage and nothing changing
Good for you, but what does that inform us about Mr Bew's politics and/or the political terms of reference set by him for the Boston Tapes Project?
how much did you pay for it?I have Bew's copy of From Max Weber on the shelf behind me. Picked it up in the late lamented North Street Arcade bookshop.

bloody good book.A handsome five pounds sterling, cheap at half the price.
Countered by the citys so call ring of steel, though of course after those bombs the British Goverment caved in and surrendered to sein feins demands and the GFA was signedEspecially 'property damage' in the likes Canary Wharf and the City.

If the gfa was a republican victory what would a defeat have looked like?
i quite liked the mortaring of heathrow. And if Canary Wharf and Bishopsgate were just a bit of 'property damage' what would a real economic bombing campaign by the IRA have looked like?

Probably less of a problem than a real shoot to kill policy
Well he went into the election campaign the most popular leader in Ireland (much to CR's chagrin). A sky news report described his delivery at the press conference as 'urbane and statesmanlike'. That plus tonight's 'credible death threat' from the PSNI probably won't do any harm either.well, looks like there will be no charge. Fucked his electioneering though?

yes and we saw how well that worked in iraq and afghanistanThing about the troubles is both sides could escalate.
Except one side has a 1st world military do enough damage and the gloves really come off

The other curiosity about the Boston Tapes is that according to GA the allegations were put to him by references to 'A' alleges this and 'B' alleges that...
now the question is did the PSNI interrogators decide to withhold their identity from Adams or were their identities already concealed prior to being handed over to the authorities?
One way or the other there are some fairly profound implications.
Jean McConville and Johnathan Ball (victim of the Warrington bombing) should inspire equal revulsion as the people horrifically executed by the state on Bloody Sunday. There should be no mercy or clemency for anyone involved in those massacres unless they have explicitly confessed and been included in peace agreements.
Every para that pulled a trigger that injured or killed an innocent (and those that gave orders) should be in jail. Every 'volunteer' that planted bombs or pulled triggers that injured or killed people (and those that gave orders) should in jail.
Good stuff.Jude Collins' take on the situation...
Of pile-ups and boomerangs
