Germany to limit the use of Heating and Lighting this winter?

I've never been able to forget the feeling of elation at junior school 73-74 when all the lights suddenly went off and we knew we were going home early.

Can also remember FA cup replays having to be played in the daytime on weekdays to avoid having to use floodlights.

It's great to think the old times are coming back.

Typical German houses are very well double glazed and I think insulated also.

I was in a motorway service station last weekend, queuing for a coffee behind a bloke whose t-shirt said 'The older you get, the better it was.'

Lady at a craft fair I was at recently was still using one of these as a backup when the wifi signal went down.

Might be useful for the half dozen or so people left in the country who still use cheques.

My card doesn’t have raised numbers any more.

That sounds like it could be an accessibility issue for the blind or partially sighted.
