Surely I am not the only person to be watching this spat with interest? Last Saturday, the Fake Sheikh treated GG to lunch at the Dorchester, and sought to entrap him into making anti-semitic remarks, selling his services for cash etc. After the event, GG got wise, and promised the News of the World that if they printed the story, he would circulate Mahmood's (never printed) photo. Judging by the on-line edition, they have bottled out. Seems to be a significant tactical victory for GG. So far--I am sure this one will run & run.

Galloway got hold of the paper towards the end of his radio show last night and said there was nothing about him in it He promised that he would publish the photo of the fake sheikh next week. I wonder if there is anything going on behind the scenes between him and the paper. Maybe some sort of compromise deal. I wonder if they will offer him something not to publish the picture (if he really does have it). I will be listening to his show again tonight to see if he refers to it.

1) I suspect he does have a picture--it was referred to in Duncan Campbell Guardian article

2) What is the frequency for that radio show? I might just listen....

That same photo appeared in Guy Fawkes blog the other day in connection with the fake sheikh story. So maybe his picture has already been publshed, but not widely. Although is has the look of an old photo to me. Maybe is way out of date. The sheikh might be a fat, bald old git now.

I was a little suspicious, and so sidestepped the "offer" for several weeks. Finally, after much prompting from Mr. Ali, I agreed to meet this "someone" last Saturday after my TalkSport radio show. When I checked my diary and found the dinner was at the Dorchester, my suspicions swiftly deepened.

Seems to be saying: "i was so shrewd, I smelled a rat and didn't go, but then, err.. I went".

Like the 'when i checked my diary' bit. Nice touch. He's such a fuckin politician he doesn't even make his own dinner arrangements. got somebody whe deals with the minor details of life for him. Cunt. 100%
