Thinking of coming down to the match this weekend with the kids. How early do you need to be in to grab a seat in the stand?

2pm would be the latest I'd risk it, there's folk putting scarves on seats now to save them lol

Between 1pm and 1.30pm ya reckon?
Turnstiles open at 1.30pm. I've no idea how many tickets are available, but we don't always reach full capacity on the day even after all the online tickets have gone. I guess you'll still be able to get in by 2.30pm, because I often see people paying on the gate at that time. I can't believe any game would sell out much earlier than that, but it can't be guaranteed and no one can give an accurate answer to your question. You really need to weigh up how much you want to see the game and how inconvenient it will be if you make a wasted journey, then just get there as early as it suits you.

Appreciate that mate, I told me pal between 1.15 and 1.30 to be safe, I suppose he can always pop off for a pint or get one in the ground anyway to pass time before KO

Appreciate the help lads 👍

Totally random question for more mature (in years) fans but does another remember a Champion Hill game being disrupted when a goose (or swan?) landed on the pitch and refused to budge?

It was a league match against Croydon Athletic around 20 years ago. A Canada goose landed in the centre circle and just stood there. Play continued around it while it walked around a bit, then Terry Bowes started running with the ball. The goose took off and chased him towards the goal before lifting off and flying away towards Peckham.

This is a genuine question - no criticism of anyone, friend or foe, intended - which occurred to me following the # game and watching their highlights package. There was a very understandable difference between their output and many other teams in the league.
We have, as ever, the highest average attendances in the league (Approx 2500) and often sell out Saturday home games. # average 350. Our YouTube channel has 6.4k subscribers, # have 641k. So, my question is simply about the relative advertising income that YouTube generates. Anyone have any ideas?
I really don't want to start a conversation about proper supporters and the old days etc Just curious.

It won’t last either. In five years when AI can stretch to whole video packages Streatham Rovers will be getting ten times Hashtag’s eyeballs.

In fact I look forward to a match where a deranged Streatham team gone temporarily insane on TurboMotovational Toilet Duck goes round the crowd literally plucking every single eyeball from the horrified Hashtag faithful’s skulls. (Through no fault of the Club of course).

Big fan of Canada geese ... a long time ago in Poole Park, one bit my cousin on his backside because the other geese were being fed & he wasn't - my cousin is still annoyed ~40 years later that we laughed so much.
