fuck me, they were shite...

Bis

Admittedly brief success, but how anyone could tolerate more than two seconds of Manda Rin's faux Japanese screeching is beyond me.

Anyone got any Vera's? lol

I'd say they were winners in my book!

I only found out what vera's were last week, shhh, dont tell anyone*

M-People and the Lighthouse Family almost ruined the nineties for me too, so they're in Room 101.

Tuneless crap vocalist cunts, only liked by car salesmen and people who thought a package holiday to Torremolinos means they must be cosmopolitan.

mr c is a pretty good dj, except whenever he brings out a mix album he shoehorns 'move any fucking mountain' into it.

That's true. He still loves his old stuff.

I did like "In Gorbachev We Trust" when it came out, had some edgy Depeche Mode style tunes on it, before they went housey housey.

And the Bam Bam remix of "Trancendental" is a great tune, still stands up today.

One of the worst bands I've ever seen play, redeemed only by one of them throwing an amusing strop at whoever supplied the toytown PA.

5: Shed 7. They just wouldn't go away.

The Pretenders. Never understood why they were popluar. Also probably the most boring band I ever had the misfortune to see live.

There are so many to choose from, but the first that popped into me head were the Manic Street Preachers.

Dull as fuck, looked shit too. Richie had the right idea!

new order.......main guy can't sing or play guitar - and then the cunt has the cheek to release a record called 'getting away wit it'.......

Tindersticks. Would maybe have been alright if they'd replaced that Vic Reeves club singer bloke.

Yep.

A more recent selection - Travis. I mean Coldplay I don't like, but I can see they have commercial and radio appeal. But Travis? Why do people want to droned at?

Oasis...specifically "What's the Story.." dull MOR toss disguised by annoying intination, terrible rhyming couplets and titles like "Champagne Supernova"

Sleeper...dullest Britpop band, even The Bluetones had more energy and somehow for about 2 years Louise fuckign Weiner was on TV

Jamiroquwhy
