What odds were Holland to win before the tournament? Their chances weren't being rated too high so i'm guessing you could get good odds, good call to anyone who did...Quality game I think the Dutch can go all the way, I think a Holland v Spain final based on what i've seen so far, assuming of course they don't meet beforehand.
It's the Dutch's to throw away this time round I think. Not to say they won't do their customary implode.
If Holland beat Romania and France draw with Italy a team will qualify from this group with 2 points. Has that ever happened before (in the 3 teams per group and 3 points for a win era)?
I disagree that they aren't weak in any area(in reply to red o) their defence is a bit weak but their attacking ability/goalkeeper makes up for that.
Looks like the ESPN commentator doesn't check out the Urban Dictionary website regularly enough:

But try this: Holland beat Romania 3-0, Italy and France draw 0-0, then Italy, France and Romania will all have identical records, and all the games between them will have been drawn. Then, presumably, it'll have to be down to the drawing of lots
I've also been saying holland/spain needs to happen, looks like it can only happen in the quarters or semi's though.
In that last one, I reckon France go through on goals scored ...France and Italy have identical records -scored 1, conceded 4, 1 point-, Romania have two points and level goal difference, so if France and Italy draw and Holland really stuff Romania then it'll go to penalties between France and Italy.

Oh yes - sorry, was thinking France drew 1-1 with Romania for some reason ...Don't think so: it'll be scored one, conceded four for all three teams, won't it?
