Foreign criticism of the Olympics

Starting with Mitt Romney

he told US television there were "disconcerting" signs about Britain's readiness. "It's hard to know just how well it will turn out," he said. "There are a few things that were disconcerting: the stories about the private security firm not having enough people, supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging."

Fuck off Romney and mind your own business you twat

It's thanks to the American's demands that we have mobile anti-air missile systems dotted around London.

Fuck off, indeed.

Can someone ask this cunt just what country Atlanta is in?

Cheeky fucker having a moan about our Olympics

I was wondering the other day what foreign coverage of our prep was like. Thinking about how we were with Greece, I can imagine it hasn't been great.

I watched some dick in NY the other day going on about the rickety "Metro" system in London obviously never used the NY system.

Der Spiegel’s website pulled no punches
‘Day after day, millions squeeze into the clattering London Underground, the oldest, probably hottest and often fullest subway system in the world. Then, after prolonged inhalation of the melded odors of perspiration and perfume, the crowds pour into downtown London’s too-narrow sidewalks before disappearing into their offices,’
‘And the children? They haven’t become athletes, either. On the contrary, the boys and girls of the British Isles are among the fattest in the European Union.’
:D :D

with that whole missile defence thing, someone should have told the yanks that we have not had hostile aircraft in our airspace since world war two. Just cos they are still butthurt over 9/11. Which you would be wouldn't you/.

Far be it for me to defend Mitt Romney but the things he said are precisely true. Those things happened and it is disconcerting :hmm:

Republican..

Do you a member of the Archery Association of India as well? :hmm:

Paresh Nath Mukherjee, general secretary of the Archery Association of India, said there isn’t enough room to swing a cat. “If the accommodation at the Commonwealth Games was five-star, on that scale the accommodation here at the Games Village is not even two-star,” he moaned to the Hindustan Times. “With the equipment and everything else kept at one side, there is hardly space to move. The rooms are very cramped. The Village here is absolutely spick and span. But in hindsight, the accommodation at the Commonwealth Games was so much better and even then, we were criticised.”
