Football betting and odds, discussion and other gambling stuff

You can back them to win at 10/11 with hills. Madrid needed two last minute goals to beat sporting Lisbon at home and Dortmund have not lost a game in the Cl so for. The bookie is trying to draw punters in with those odds when they obviously don't fancy a home win.

Madrid haven't lost in the CL either OR in La Liga. I know how the bookies work, I just think that price is too long. Dortmund can be got at.

Chelsea are evens to win the premier. They look strong all over the pitch and have no other distractions. Liverpool and City lose too many bread and butter games and Arsenal are Arsenal. I have done well so far this season and might invest some of my winnings on this bet. BCBlues is there something that could derail Chelsea's fine form ?

but will there be a wobble at some point so you can get better then evens?
I suppose that depends how many points (if any) that they are leading by at the time. I mean they could drop points and still be top.
Chelsea are evens and next best is 4/1. I presumed the second favs would be shorter.

Palace have derailed us and Liverpool in the past so I take nothing for granted, but as great as the game at Hull was to watch on MOTD, both defences looked woeful.

It's hard for me to answer that one Sea Lion , I'm far too biased for my own good :D
I suppose that Hazard and Costa form might dip and we stop scoring, but injury wise we should cope as we have a strong squad and some good youngsters.

I agree with ffsear that Arsenal will do an Arsenal and fade out so yes its a good bet that the title is ours.

I got 7/1 at the start of the season, but...I doubled us up with 10/1 shots for League One....you got it, Millwall.

tbf we are not even at the half way stage yet. Leicester at 6-4 to finsih in the top ten looks better

The top 7 will be the usual lot then its a toss up between, Southampton, West brom, Stoke and maybe Bournemouth imo. I think Leicesters players will be focused on the cl having already won the premier. I suppose it depends on how far they go in the cl.

Simple little treble for tomorrow night.
Leicester (at Bournemouth )
Brighton (at Blackburn )
Fulham at home to Rotherham.

It's just under 9/1 gotta be worth a couple of quid. If I win it will go on Wednesday night's games.

Personally I think Seville will be a tough test

If you're serious about making money I've no idea why you would bet on football, particularly results - over and unders maybe. I give myself £100 a weekend and usually withdraw £200 on Tuesday/Wednesday betting on tennis and basketball and nothing higher than 1.05. Pays for my beer over the w/e.

How many bets are you making and winning every week?

You only back 1/20 shots?

I do very well on the football for very small stakes. You are risking a oner to get even money back. We all have our ways of betting and if i lose 4 0r 5 quid i can live with that. You are shelling out a lot of dough just for beer money.

I don't do fractionals - I find decimal far more accurate. I don't even look at the sport to be honest, just flick down the page until i see a 1.03 or something and im in.

For fun I'll sometimes put a tenner on something I actually give a shit about like cricket but they usually never come in.

Well, it's easy money. I've only lost my float once. It's just about being disciplined and not letting the eyes light up at a 1.33

1.05 is 1/20 however you slice it... Backing ridiculously small odds like that is a recipe for disaster imo. Over the long run you'll lose.

That's not true is it. If it was , every man and his dog would be on it and bookies going out of business.

Bookies won't go out of business because there's always idiots who think Rooney will score and United will win 3-1 and throw a tenner at it.
