Football betting and odds, discussion and other gambling stuff

Bookies won't go out of business because there's always idiots who think Rooney will score and United will win 3-1 and throw a tenner at it.
you can also add the roulette machines, virtual racing and blokes that sit in there all day backing favorites without looking at any form.

Because a system of backing miniscule odds like that will never work over the long term? Besides, why settle for beer money? Why not ten-fold your stakes if you 'Win all of them' and make an actual living out of it?

I'd also like to see how you manage to turn a £100 profit backing 1.05 and shorter. A £100 single at that price returns a whopping £5.

I'm putting on, I don't know, 40-50 bets. I don't care if a bet on chinese womens basketball deep in the 4th quarter returns £1 while I'm off having a piss, its still a quid.

If you're betting on anything like 1.10 you're a fucking idiot. IMHO. I know if you're betting chickenfeed like a fiver then it makes no sense to bet on a 1.01 but dont bet a fiver then. You're throwing it away.

Anyway. Believe what you want :)

Book makers will make more off you than you make off them over any extended period , odds on that ? I`ll give you 10/1 or 20/1 or 100/1

the level of stake has absolutely no relationship to the odds , surely you can see that ?

You criticise chickenfeed stakes yet you're backing chickenfeed odds

And 40-50 bets? LMFAO

I 'believe' you're talking bollocks but hey, I'm allowed to believe that.

:)

At least. I'll post a screenshot of this week's work if you like. I'm at work now so not a good look to be doing that here.

If you're serious about making money I've no idea why you would bet on football, particularly results - over and unders maybe. I give myself £100 a weekend and usually withdraw £200 on Tuesday/Wednesday betting on tennis and basketball and nothing higher than 1.05. Pays for my beer over the w/e.

A simple screenshot to back this up can end all debate.

well it could but to be honest even if it works this week it would not not work over an extended period , there is no debate .

He lays £100 to win a fiver and picks up £2/300 each Tuesday or Wednesday and never loses ,

A screenshot can be manipulated to reflect anything. Anyone who claims that backing micro odds is a foolproof blueprint for success is not to be taken seriously.

to win just £ 200 over a weekend ( a poor weekend for him ) as he suggested, the stake money would need to be £ 4000 @ 1.05 ( high odds for him )

what do you reckon ?

Like that betting responsibly slogan says 'When the fun stops STOP' And that sounds like no fun at all to me. Unlikely to be that rewarding either.

The maths in Reaibuzz ' betting methods doesn't add up for me either, neither does his (mis)understanding that genuine football fans like a little flutter, it generates an interest in other divisions, other leagues, players etc. There's no excitement like cheering your own team on but I bet some of the posters on here have cheered some odd teams on over the years.
I once jumped for joy when Glen Hoddle smashed a free kick in for Tottenham :D. He won me £30 and I'm going back a bit.

I'm with Sea Lion on this, I bet a couple of quid and don't need to worry if I lose.

Leicester done me out last night, so much for their revival eh.
Tonight I'm going for West Ham,Man C,Spurs West Brom, Derby and Newcastle. It's 19/1, I'm happy putting a couple of quid on that, like I say it's a bit of fun.

Chelsea West brom Derby and Newcastle all to win.

West brom and Notts forest. Both teams to score and win.

I think West ham and Liverpool may be the coupon busters.

Even though I have it in my Accy, I think Wigan v Newcastle might bust a few bets tonight, we'll see....

West ham are 1/2 in places but have scraped one home win (90th minute winner) since August . I know Burnley are bad away from home but still a very dodgy bet.

I'm just thinking, like Man City, they can't keep playing shit in front of their own fans, someone in the team has to get them going.

in front of their own fans
That might be half the problem, They ain't Hammers fans, just premier tourists turning up for the experience. They don't do anything for the atmosphere. Arsenal shirters sitting and singing all around there place at the recent derby. :D

Bollocks , you talk shite . 50 k ST holders , doubt many tourists would have had the wedge or foresight . It wasnt full last night though

I read on YOUR fucking forum kumb. Read the thing and see what your own fans are saying.

I am a season ticket holder and haven`t missed a game this season , the only reason the atmosphere is not good is because we have been playing shit , good football , good atmosphere , the same could be said of dear old UP which I loved but I promise you the atmosphere there was shit in the Sam years . The cup game against Chelsea was rocking , new stadiums can work .

ps obviously same rules don`t apply at The Emirates where the atmosphere is always shit even with good football .

Thistlecrack to win the King George at Kempton 15.15 on Boxing Day. He's 2.25 right now, i think he will be odds on fav come the start tomorrow. Can't see this horse losing.

Fleetwood peterboro barnet doncaster cambridge. I am backing them to win based on current form.

Burnley leicester newcastle. Both to teams to score and win.
