Well it quite clearly doesn't because it completely avoids the fucking issue - that he used racial abuse on the occasion described by Talluajah. (EDIT and accosted Badger's co-worker with the complaint that "nobody speaks English here")

I've no idea whether that allegation is try or not (EDIT and if true whether it was taken out of context/misheard) but the "defence" of the band made by rutabowa, yourself and others has been utterly pathetic because you won't address the very clear points people are raising.

And the point isn't whether they "are racists". I don't think anybody is claiming/believes that they are long term ideological racists but rather than one of the band members made a racist remark.

He was banned from the grosvenor for claiming that 'niggers can't read'. He also demonstrated similar behavior at the Albert, corroborated by a long time poster here. Apols, but I'd regard that as banning behavior. Excellent brown nosing from your likers there tho.

The bottom line is that you made up the claim that he was banned from both pubs, and that makes me wonder why you'd do that.

It's a bit much asking for or expecting publicity for stunts/protests, but only when it looks 'good', and then complaining about getting attention if it is negative or controversial 'in the wrong way'? It's not like people here are music journalists playing some kind of game, and can be wound up a little bit to get a bit of press coverage or sell a certain kind of image before a gig or album launch, and then they'll just go home and forget about it because 'its all just a laugh innit'.
