It's only fair to let people know who the guy being discussed actually is (rather than just have photos of someone else).

It's also only fair to show that there are photos out there that show (or 'suggest') the exact opposite of someone hanging out with people giving Hitler salutes.

i personally find it really weird posting people's personal photos on a random bulletin board that none of the people in the photos frequent. even if it's done to defend or whatever.

So you are happy to do everything via text but photos have no value at all?

All these photos have been set as 'public'. In what sense are they 'personal'? They have had a photo of themselves on the front of a national newspaper iirc due to their thatcher sign, so it's not exactly invasion of a privacy is it?

call me old fashioned but yes i do think it's an invasion of privacy, whether or not the photos are public on facebook. But mostly i just think it is really weird and stalkery.

You're annoyed at the wrong people here. Pulling people ,who deliberately set out to publicise themselves/put themselves in the public arena, on dodgy behaviour is not weird or stalky(which is a seriously scary scenario for anyone who's actually been subjected to real stalking),it's to be expected.Lets face it they're probly rubbin their hands with glee,this is the most publicity they're ever likely to get and all at the cost of...hey d'ye remember that time we were all marxists?Yeah,sick man...

I'm getting a little uncomfortable with this thread. It appears to be a little persecutory with all sorts of potentially defamatory claims being made based on some very isolated incidents.

I imagine quite a few people here may have acted like an arse once or twice when they're pissed, and it's right if they get slapped down for it.

That said, I'm really not sure it warrants an entire thread full of random photos dredged up from facebook or the endless recycling of accusations of possible racism based on a single event that almost all of the participants in this thread are hearing second hand.
