FA Cup 2024/25

Great draw for the next round. Leeds away (so long as we beat West Ham Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow night. Edit: look out for me on telly, I'll be there ) for Millwall. Had me up cheering, the dog is very upset :D

Almost more importantly though, imagine if the mighty Os somehow beat Derby on Tuesday. They'd have Man City at home!

Edit: I should add, had Millwall drawn any championship side other than Leeds (IFHL) I'd be gutted and moaning. Ideally they field their kids, with their focus on promotion, we win and draw Chelsea in the next round.

Zirkzee's goal celebration is highly dubious. Firing a pretend machine gun into the crowd  Maybe should be rethought. Also don't know why players are yellow carded for taking their shirts off to celebrate but Fernandes got away with booting the shit out of an ad hoarding while on a yellow card already. For throwing his boot at the ref.

And why oh why were the Arsenal players' numbers in a very very very light blue? A very very very light blue that was indistinguishable from white on most cameras and hence illegible. I put this and other disgraceful injustices in the world down to designers being asked to do something with no knowledge of the subject or care for the effects, and no checking by people with both

Why did the replays get scrapped? Premier League clubs complaining about fixture congestion?

ETA: the video explained everything. PL clubs always get what they want. If the CL only let actual champions in instead of the top 4, and we didn't have all these extra leagues and competitions, then the PL clubs wouldn't have all these extra games.

I'm all for more destruction of advertising hoardings myself.

Leeds-Milwall could be good.
My footie days go back a long way. I remember when those two sets of supporters were amongst the worst in the land and the match could only have ended one way. Around the '70s I saw Palace win 0-1 at elland road. We had to walk right though the middle of the crowd coming out of the home end. Scared the shit out of me.

As far as I can tell it hasn't decided yet. Plymouth-Liverpool will almost certainly get a screening, and Villa-Spurs and Brighton-Chelsea probably too.

Leeds-Milwall could be good.
Why? They regularly play each other in the league and due to police requirements milwall will only take a few hundred there.

Heh, heh. O's wont be complaining too much about the no Cup replays rule this year: R1: win on pens AET. R2: Win in AET after last gasp goal by our keeper saves our bacon. R3: win on pens again AET.

Last time O's played Man City was 1966 (and 99 years ago in the Cup).
