I can't see Perez in Red Bull next season, he has cost the team 10s of millions this season. Looks like they'll finish 3rd in the constructors now. Maybe Carlos Slim will stump up 50million to keep him there, but I think not.
Reports from Mexico are claiming that Telmex are thinking of pulling out of Red Bull because AT&T are increasing its sponsorship of Red Bull, Slim feels it is counter-productive to have two major telecommunications companies sponsoring the same team.

Telmex says it will continue on as a personal sponsor of Perez, I think this is Carlos Slim putting the presure on Red Bull to keep Perez for next season.

It happened in the middle of a live interview on Sky.

I don't think what's-her-name knew what to say.

:D

Which one is "what's-her-name", and who is she?

(I might need to have a cold shower...)

Edited to add: subsequent video clip shows it's neither of them ☹

Anthem watch:

Starts with Reveille, then some earnest barbershop a capella. The main lyrics seemed to be "Mexico, Mexico will kick your arse".

5/10.

Checo's not even a serious racing driver anymore. Get him out of the car, someone who's lost all confidence and is a faint shadow of who he used to be is going to end up a danger to everyone else.
I get the impression that the state of Helmut Marko's haemorrhoids is more influential in Red Bull than performance.
