GOP types who believe that a handful of kids getting age-appropriate gender affirming care will 'mutilate a generation' fully prepared to expose a generation to totally avoidable paralysis or death.

huh?

from your article....

The bill would strike language requiring that immunization records be submitted to childcare agencies, but would keep those requirements for students enrolling in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Trump reportedly not enjoying the trial much

Trump hasn’t been taking to martyrdom very well behind the scenes, though, three sources with knowledge of the matter tell Rolling Stone. He has privately raged over everything from reports that he can’t stop dozing off, to how the court sketch artist is rendering him, to late-night talk show hosts joking about his legal troubles. The former president is reaching levels of fury over the judicial process and all it entails that are “maxed out, even for him,” says one source who has had to personally endure Trump’s recent rantings about his trial.

...“I was actually just thinking this morning about how cold [Trump] kept complaining to be yesterday. In his normal world, someone would have jumped up and run, not walked, to get the temperature perfect for him,” says Stephanie Grisham, Trump’s former White House press secretary who fell out with him years ago. “This entire experience must be beyond uncomfortable for him, not just the fact that it dives into such personal details, but he has absolutely no control for probably the first time since he was a young child.”

Went down the wrong rabbit hole at a time of being vulnerable. If anything was dodgy about SVB it was the 100% bail out of account holders...7 of which took the vast majority of the billions tax payers threw at it

I read bits of his manifesto and it's about half sense and nonsense. You can read it here:

That's a shame, never mind.

The Gateway Pundit, a rightwing website known for spreading election conspiracies, will declare bankruptcy as it faces lawsuits for defamation.

The site’s parent company, TGP Communications, will file for bankruptcy in Florida “as a result of the progressive liberal lawfare attacks against our media outlet”, founder Jim Hoft wrote on the website.
Progressive liberal bastards
Those lawsuits include one from the Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who sued the organization in Missouri, where it is based, after the website perpetuated false claims that the two had been involved in election fraud in Georgia.
Ah :)
In a separate case, Freeman and Moss secured a $148m judgment against Rudy Giuliani for spreading election lies about
Gateway Pundit also faces a suit in Colorado from a former Dominion Voting Systems employee, Eric Coomer, who alleges the outlet defamed him by claiming he rigged the election against Trump.

Election offices have faced waves of harassing messages after Gateway Pundit stories have been published, often targeting staff members with threatening and abusive language.

The defamation lawsuits are one strategy pro-democracy groups, private companies and individuals are using to attempt to hold people and organizations accountable for spreading election lies, especially ones that cause harm to people like Freeman, Moss and Coomer. Those on the defense often refer to these lawsuits as “lawfare”.
:D

Former president Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that his ongoing hush money trial constitutes “election interference,” by preventing him from connecting with voters, and so, the Republican presidential nominee spent his one day off from court diligently campaigning.

Just kidding, Trump actually went golfing.

A not-so aggrieved Trump spent his Wednesday puttering around at the Bedminster Golf Club, sources told CNN. On Wednesday, President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign released a succinct statement about Trump’s campaign events that day: “He had none.”

On Thursday, Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for the Biden campaign blasted Trump’s decision to play instead of work.

“We found out where Trump was. He was golfing. Not campaigning. Golfing,” said Moussa, according to NBC. “But, when your entire campaign is about enacting revenge and retribution for yourself and doing nothing to make Americans’ lives better, it makes sense you wouldn’t feel the need to actually speak to voters.”

Only two days before, Trump had complained to the press before his trial’s opening statements. “I’m here instead of being able to be in Pennsylvania and Georgia and lots of other places campaigning, and it’s very unfair," Trump whined.

Trump’s golf obsession is certainly nothing new, but in this case it demonstrates the degree of manufactured outrage over his legal battles, intended to incite and enrage his followers—who he clearly has no intention of ever meeting in person.
