I knew this was the next step. Either I'm too angry, or not angry enough. So you weren’t angry about what happened to Sarah Everard? I am.

The assumption was that because I'm male I meant violence. And you can't protest male violence with male violence.A suggestion to organise is often born out of anger.

I'd suggested no thing of course.
Maybe it's impossible to build bridges and solidarity and we'll therefore be fucked. So whatever. I just feel sorry for my son who'll get the worst of the incoming shit.Once again, I can’t comment because unlike you, I don’t have perfect recall of that specific exchange.
Fair dos, you personally weren't there when I got kicked off a thread for suggesting organising against misogynists like we do fascists.
I think misogyny Is easier to understand given it's on a personal level. A better comparison would be Patriarchy which I think exists in every state, to differing degrees. Fascism is pretty complicated.I personally find both of those words have become really ambiguous these days.
You might have to draw up some really solid definitions that your posse signs up to.

Well fascism is the creation of a fascist state which requires some particular steps to make it so.Not sure. I'd be inclined to think fascism simpler and misogyny more complex.
And Patriarchy seems to have almost as many meanings as people who say the word.

Patriarchy is a position of a state (which most have to varying degrees) regarding male rule and female rights.
Misogyny is the individual. I guess it could be tied into both of the above but at its base level it means men who hate women.
Well yeah, but I wasn't discussing day to day meanings. A fascist state is particular to a certain set of principles. People calling conservatives fascists are wrong.I'm closest to agreeing with you on the third (which is at least a definition, rather than a tautology like the first one (ie. "fascism is what fascist states do").
While I'd say the others have perfectly valid meanings, day to day usages seem to be all over the place ime..
