I have to say it's no surprise.
Nope, it's no surprise. I paid more in taxes than he did two of the four years he was president. That's not as a percentage, that's actual dollars.
I've also paid more in taxes than most of the 25 richest Americans:

What’s made you cross though? That he wasn’t given props or that you weren’t?
Maybe you were the first (here’s a medal for you) but Tate has been discussed on various threads, I’m pretty sure. And just because there’s no dedicated thread or endless ongoing discussion of this pratt doesn’t mean no one here was aware of him. He’s not especially newsworthy outside his foul misogyny but this beautiful own goal is too good to ignore. The fact that it gets posted up and commented on tells you he’s definitely been on the radar.

You didn’t frame it as an us and them thing, you just said ”I said it first! It was me!” which struck me as childish and irrelevant, so I took the piss a bit.
Not sure how both of us hugely disliking Tate puts us on opposite sides of the argument tho.

Maybe you framed it in a way that didn’t land right. Maybe the people on that thread at that time weren’t receptive in the way that other people might have been. Maybe you didn’t read the room right, maybe the comtext wasn’t what you thought it was, maybe the mood on that day wasn’t combative. Or maybe you were treated unfairly and that will be obvious now. I don’t know. So I can’t pursue this discussion.

Well in that case I imagine people were completely sick and tired of male violence and really weren’t in the right headspace to be thinking of going on the attack. I don’t remember the exchange (you obviously do) but I was on that thread. Sarah was kidnapped from just around the corner from my home. Had she got home safely she would have walked right past my house.
Your anger came out as wanting to go on the offensive, but maybe that wasn’t the right time or place to make that stand?

My anger? A suggestion to organise isn't an expression of anger. It's a suggestion to organise. But yes, your interpretation was the same and because I said it it must have meant anger.
