Thing is, even if England lose, the world cup's still going to be huge. At least if they win it'll be optimistic insanity.

If I lived in a different country and England weren't in the cup I'd definitely support that country. It'd seem really rude not to. Weird how England seems to inspire most non-English people not to support them.

It's a Scots, Welsh, Irish thing mostly. IME England are quite well liked outside of these countries. With the obvious exception of Australia but the feeling is mutual
