The Strummerville area was fucking ace and Beans On Toast's rap performance on Friday night was the best thing I saw all weekend.

The rest does get a little blurry at times though :D

I would have liked to go to Strmmerville but 'someone' wouldn't get me a sofa to myself

Cheers to all the people who helped with Werv-sitting, particularly those in camp Freakin Awesome, a totally fab group of people to camp with.

The crawling seems to be coming along well, or it was until he went straight off the edge of the bed earlier and whacked his head on the door :( He has a massive bump.

It was really nice at the end that the bloke who was camped next to us came over and said " my heart sank when I realised we'd camped next to a baby but he was great, all we heard was him laughing" :D:D

Didn't get to chat to as many people as I'd have liked to, and several people I never got past saying 'I'll be back in a minute' to  but those I did see were lovely. And was nice to meet Pootle and F - and well done for breaking Tanky!

Roll on next year

i'll say a bit more now...

cheers to jefe and pie for the lift down (and apologies to jefe again...) and cheers to the peeps who helped make the weekend. some great company - shells, termite man, tp, firks, poots, wiskers, derv, madzone, jtg, aqua, jefe, pie, etc, etc, etc :) and big cheers to flounder and co for such a fab festival.

i thought i was going to dorset but ended up on mars. freaky

oh and there was some great market research going on from chuff - good to see you and jane, it'd been ages since the last time

oh and a massive thanks to spacehopper for the lift to salisbury this morning and to wiskey for help with the dodgy tent

I seem to have missed loads of people :( but think I was on a slightly different schedule to everyone else. ;) Thanks so much to everyone who helped us get in, tent up and out again - aqua, whisky, derv, k----- (whose board name I don't know), pootle, pootle's friend, termite man, shells, iemanja, magneze, pH, madz - you all rock. I am not entirely sure that going to a festival on your own with a toddler was one of my best ideas but if you're going to do it, then endorse-it is the place to do it. We had a pretty good time although I'm glad we left yesterday - it's taken me about 3 hours to clean the pushchair :D

Phew!
Loved: Rowan's eyebrows, cackling through the Mid Somerset Gazette with LDR and ngeru, stig'n'rich's cheese, Strummerville, huge psychobilly quiffs, madzone's 'tache/pink wedges combo, beautiful Dorset, mango's spider hat, Good Evening Cleveland!, jefe shuffling about at last, the kamikaze tractor drivers, the massive yellow sun shelter, cider lollies, blerks in frocks, the love of many, many good Urbanites, and actually, the music*.

Loved less: weather during most of the day :p, lack of veggie-only food places, terrible comedians, *Tarantism, the cunt with the speakers on the roof of his SUV from 6.30am.

All in all, bloody marvellous. Can't wait to do it again.

Thanks Flounder and you lot. *kisses*

you have reminded me that my entire festival was ruined because there was nowhere to buy cake on Sunday afternoon.

No Cake. At a Festival. Massive Fail :(
What about those kids selling cake on the path? Or Peaceful progress? They had brownies and stuff. The cakes the kids were selling looked quite nice.

Well that was a brilliant weekend!

Saw practically no bands but frankly the ones we saw were pretty ropey. Sham 69 were hilariously terrible. Hobo Jones however were great as always and despite my cynicism I really enjoyed Zion Train.

Music wise the highlight for me was the Strummerville area. Great sets all round especially from Beans on Toast and Smoky Angle Shades who, despite the ropey name, produced the most lovely close harmony singing I've heard for a long time.

Camping in the camper van field was great and a good crew all round. Massive respect to the birdos who provided a lot of entertainment! And the paddling pool was a fucking top addition despite the mission of filling it up. The sad story of the Bombay Bad Boy and the missing Peperami Firestick will stay with me always though as a tale of festival woe however :( (I'll let Biddlybee or Cpatain Rbubish explain that one!)

Missed loads of people but cheers to all who we camped with for a great weekend. It was ace to see loads of people but especially lovely to see Magneze and Iemanja so loved up. Also to see lots of the Urban boys dressed so well for ladies day - particularly Crispy's 80s hair metal tights

Biggest thanks of the weekend go to El Jefe for the stirling DJ work and letting me on the stage and Editor for letting me shamelessly muscle in on his DJ slots. I can honestly say that was one of the most fun things I've ever done - and I'll say here that I deserve no credit for the excellent choice of playing Pass the Duchy - that was the Ed's idea (happy now ;):D)

Now I need some fucking sleep!

Also, _pH_ actually managed to win the entire festival. Have never seen one person so casually and coolly blow so many minds. *applause*

Last night was stunningly superb; you, ed and jeff really did a fantastic job of getting the crowd going  The dancing round those tiny tiny handbags was hilarious :D

I ony got about a minute of it because I'm too stoopid to be able to work my camera properly but here's pH doing a bit of punk karaoke  :D

It's certainly the first time I've seen people dancing in a medieval style to ska!

:D

thanks for all the feedback - we had a great time and already talking about next year. My personal highlights were Muzza and mates, the mighty Scrumpy Sunday and bombing around giving people lifts in the landrover on Friday - twas a lovely way to spend my birthday. 10 hours sleep over the last 3 days is now beginning to take its toll so I'll leave you all to it.
Lastly though, thanks to all of you for coming along and being the best punters that we have ever had - bloody marvellous:)

Hmmmm...maybe you gave me and Da Real Spoon a lift in the landy on Friday :hmm:

We were going back to the car park at about 7.30 ish, maybe later and there was a couple of stallholders in the landy as well - the woman really needed a pee :D Does that sound familiar?
