Home now, showered and changed but fucking knackered.

THAT was a brilliant festy. The scale of it, the people, the music, the booze, everything. Sit down tourettes meal in a restaurant with waitress service overlooking the arena (FUCKING Macaroni Cheese and BASTARD Bacon :D), Zion Train were excellent.

First the respect list:

MASSIVE THANKS to El Jefe for the pass, I love you man!
To madz and spoony for sorting out tentage.
To rich! and stig for the transport; to Rambo for getting us there in superb style; to LDR and ngeru for making the journey so enjoyable.
To Mango5 for the loan of the dress even though I didn't use it.
To pootle for the snogs :D and for being hilariously spannered all weekend.
To felix for doing my make up so beautifully.
To nipsla, editor and el jefe for the tuneage last night - the tent was rocking!
To all the other lovely lovely lovely toomanytoname urbs who made it such a special weekend, especially those who I 'd never met or hadn't really got to know before (sparklefish, han & jan, moose and mr moose, space-hopper, TopCat, MrsDarlingsKiss, Firky and loads of others who I can't remember right now )
And of course, as others have said, to Flounder for running such a brilliantly organised festival.

Apologies to anyone who may have been a bit sick in the mouth on seeing me in my sunday finest (sorry about that shells :D and probably the foal too who seemed a bit put off his pizza. Oh and vicariously to moomoo, who probably may never ever eat another sausage roll. But not to kanda, who is definitely in denial, and quite clearly has the hots for me, and I can't say I blame him tbh)

More than happy for anyone to post up pics of me looking so damn HOT on sunday. (I've humiliated myself in front of a few thousand people at Endorse It, so a few thousand more on here won't hurt!)

And if anyone (madz/ngeru?) can youtube me rocking the karaoke, it would be good to see that too.

But yeah, fantastic weekend.

I WON the festival

The people who deserve the most praise are the tractor drivers who pulled (or in our case pushed ) everyone onto site on Wednesday and during Thursday's biblical rain. They were efficient and good humoured throughout, which is more than can be said for me :D

Hmm, don't want to go against the flow of the thread, but I was a little disappointed after all the bigging up.

Oh, I forgot to mention another highlight - when Ground Elder's friend thought me and Spoony were from Interpol - that was quite amusing :D

Yeah, if I'd gone just for the festie I'd have been disappointed.

just in case people don't click on my link of photos :D

I've tried bleach, scouring pads, domestos and other cleaning things to try and erase the image burnt in my brain and on my retina :(

Once again, Sunday was absolutely wonderful - every single person we spent time with made it very special for us, as it was our celebration day. I felt so sad leaving today, I wanted it to carry on forever... Even packing in the rain this morning was fun. I got to know some great people and although I don't think they post here: Lady Alex, Viking Johny Depp, Awkward Angus and Mrs Glittery Nails (aka mrs onemonkey) have a special place in my heart.

We actually got to watch quite a few bands, and there was a lot of good music going on! The little drum and bass tent last night was great fun. Zion Train had us dancing hard and non-stop for over an hour! The Urban Voodoo and Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs were highlights too.

And of course, the great people in our camp (I can't remember why we became camp solidarity?), for all the laughter and also drama. Pete Doherty shirt really freaked me out last night, but looked rather artistic this morning.

Another great highlight was styling Magneze, EastEnder and sleaterkeanney - they looked gorgeous in their outfits and I loved spending their money and helping pick their dresses/wigs/eyelashes ;) When Magneze and I went for a wander in the children's areas two little kids went up to him and complimented him on his dress :D :D and Crispy's tights were the best!

I've got so much to say, but I'll stop soon - but finally I'd like to thank the editor, nipsla, zora and ngeru for being with me last night when I got tired and emotional. And AgentSparrow for putting me to bed :)

fucking hell - I can't believe the weekend is over :( moar please! I hope Endorse-it never gets any bigger - it's perfectly formed and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and safe.

p.s. I have the best husband in the world xxxx

oh, and Dubversion should get a medal for his marathon djing sessions

I'll shut up for now.
