OH NOEZ

I can't get the time off work

:(

Good luck Balbi, there's almost always a way round these obstacles.

I nearly got into trouble about this. Where I am, 'they' (the evil Management) recently announced the dates of our annual stocktake, during which everyone is strongly discouraged (formerly, banned) from taking time off work. The new dates coincided with this festival ...

But I'd bought the tickets for Endorse It and for Beautiful Days, ages before they announced the altered and earlier stocktake dates. So holiday in August here I still come ... :)

Northampton, by train - no chance in hell :D

I think I can sort something out. I'm creating a new system that's going to prove essential in the next month or so, the afterglow from that should see me through any mysterious absence ;)

It is a very family friendly festival but maybe wait for a year or two until you come with foal. In the meantime, yeah get the grandparents to babysit - they love it really. :D

There's no kids tickets left so I couldn't bring him even if I wanted. But tbh, I'd be a bit stressed having him around - he's not keen on loud noise so he'd hate it :(

Thanks for all the encouragement - will see what I can do ;)

If you can get your folks to look after him – and if you can bear the idea of a couple of days away from your boy – then do it! It really is fantastic just to get a little break. I felt so refereshed after Glastonbury... well, as refreshed as you can be after three solid days of treacherous mud, sleep deprivation and drug abuse

Why don't you come to Lambeth country fair this month? You can have a few ciders in the sun, listen to some music... we'll be there with Skimboy if you want to borrow a babywipe or whatever :)

looking at the weather at the mo...

i am really glad that endorset is only next month.

am conisdering to buy a tent...?

cocktails...very good idea :)

I'll have a spare ticket, btw

YeyTrashy, do come!

If you can be apart from bubs for a couple of days... Its not that far so if you get 'the missings' you can just go home.

Woohooooooooooooooo :D :D :D :D :D

<Double hand clap>

Hey - just cause I am time-poor ****wankwankwankspeak*****
I don't have time to read this thread thoroughly - have people booked train or bus tix down? Am looking to book soon as I figure train tix might get more exxy closer to the time. I'd like to go with friends and am going Kyser-less, so does anyone want to share their travel deets with me so I can come along.

I could probably source you a tent if you'd like. My friends have a couple, I could always ask if you like? I can't - however - carry it....

deets :D

Well, wry, me and spar are prob gettin a lunchtime train on fri (1/2 day off in lieu) n then a lazy lunchtime train back on mon. You can join us if u like.

I've got a network railcard, so if anyone wants to travel down with us from London, I can get a couple of extra people a third off. (returns to salisbury, i presume.)

I'm just off to look at tickets now, i'll probably book them in about an hour.

Scrap that, the cheapo tickets aren't on sale yet, we're too early.

So, as above, but I'll probably book them in about three weeks or so. :D

I have a Network Railcard too, and may very well be able to help someone out also ...

I also know exactly where the buses that go past the festival gate go from in Salisbury, and which ones :)

If you end up mumping on Monday morning about your mouth again, the problem should be resolved quite simply :D
