Endorse it 2010

don't do it tastebud, the bands are all shit and it's full of fucking urbanites.

apart from that tho' it's a really lovely little festival
i know. those are the factors that have always put me off in the past ;) but i am broke this year and can't afford a proper festival.
meh - i dunno. will see.

That's interesting stuff. I reckon urban75 should get some strategic working partnerships sorted too. They sound k3wl.

that is cool - the fact it's so unusual is depressing tho' - good work

for our part Randy and Earl now have a dedicated page up to cover this year's
expanded Wig-on casino dancing and drinking nonsense.....

we'll be open earlier and there's all kinds of stuff - it's the best, most varied line up we've had in there

additional updates and bunting to follow.......

Have added a link to that page onto a relevant EiiD thread on efestivals forums too, because I couldn't find it there ... hope that's OK :)

Looks like there'll be plenty of cool sounds late on once again ...

Well done on the link Willum - we're updating website at the mo ( which is taking a while ) but my sodding PC won't let me use the Java stuff on Joomla ( any advice welcome and yes everything is up to date and enabled) so its taking a while.
HOWEVER, I have just seen the R&E line up and without a doubt its the best yet.:)
Also the kids area has really gone for it this year, with a load of new stuff and more being added each week.

If anyones up at Bearded Theory keep an eye out for Pronghorn & The Boot Hill All Stars ( Boot Hill are on Saturday 23.00 in the big top, supporting the "mystery guests" - no idea about Pronghorn) and also the Bus Bar, which will hopefully be making an appearance.

We'll be up there as you know, see ya! :D

Sorted the Joomla ( disabled pop up blocker and all is lovely) -more stuff being added daily.

Hey, can you tell me more about this please? What's on this year?

We've been thinking about taking our children (3 and 9), but wasn't sure if there would be enough to keep them interested for several days.

Thanks.

Water Aid World Cup
Endorse it in Dorset Festival provides the half time entertainment.

In conjunction with eFestivals, The Endorse it in Dorset Festival will be providing the half time entertainment for the Water Aid World Cup. Uniquely, The Endorse it Festival is run by musicians, headed by the lovely Pronghorn, all of whom are performing in various bands at this years Glastonbury. To this point a new area “ The Lunar Sea Lounge” is running an “Endorse it Night” on Friday evening. Other stages being played are The Bandstand ( Saturday 1.20pm) & The Blazing Saddle Stage ( every day – times tba)
Endorse it is already supports several charities and is proud to be able to help out in this Water Aid fundraiser. To this end we are forming The Endorse it supergroup Wronghorn, featuring members of the following bands - top punk band P.N.U.K., ska supergroup The Guns of Navarone, mighty hoedowners The Boot Hill All Stars & kings of cowpunk Pronghorn. There may even be a certain punk poet/musician joining the throng……
Expect a fast & furious set of Endorse it favourites driven by banjo, double bass, guitar, mandolin and fiddle.. Don’t forget to bring your wads of cash, as Endorse it CD’s
( featuring bands who have played the festival over the years) will be available for a donation of which 100% will be given to Water Aid.

Just to say that due to current financial circs we wont be along this year, which is gutting to say the least but well thats life sometimes. Enjoy it guys xx

Do tickets sell out for this? I'm very tempted, but likely won't be able to afford a ticket for a few weeks yet.

Are they, damn? I'll have to get tickets this weekend.

Has anybody here taken kids before, or is it really too "Mad Max" as someone said?

How old are they? My kids would have been bored shitless within half a day but there were plenty kids there iirc

I was told it was more Mild Max than Mad Max so we are coming with the lad.

That is if we ever get our tickets :hmm:
