Dressing down for work

We’ve got a whole week of it ‘in recognition’ of our hard work, but I dress the same at work as I do anywhere else, apart from when I’m feeling blue and lazy and wear some ‘leisure pants’, which is American for pyjama bottoms.
So, should I wear my pyjamas to work tomorrow?

I know the problem. Just got works clothes & a suit I wear to weddings or funerals. Just swap the red tie for the black.

Maybe I should buy some new clothes.

I mean really recognised that it’s been a lot of hard work and sacrifices for you this year and so they should make a sacrifice themselves, one that will really make a difference to their workers in gratitude. So here’s one that will make - literally no operational difference at all; and, unless the normally mandated uniform includes hair shirts, shoes with nails through the soles and pre-wedgied pants, bring no discernible benefits. Fucks sake.

Fridays are "dress down Friday" at my place of work. No difference for me, I wear t-shirt, hoodie, jeans and trainers to work and will do until someone says otherwise
