There isn't going to be a 'no fly zone' in Syria, and the whole world knows it.

Hillary Clinton doesn't . Your defence of her seems to be " vote for her, she's a massive fucking liar "

Eta

40 million Russians undergoing nuclear war drills don't seem to think that either . Nor do the Russian troops currently manning the heavily expanded Air defence systems in Syria . Very very expensive stuff they're shipping in now in large quantities . Not something they do for fun .

He's accused of raping some of them . Not merely abusing them . And biting their faces . The sick fuck.

Yes, we know, but the question is whether there is evidence that Hilary played an active role in attacking or undermining those he abused. I suspect she had very good 'intel' on what was going on and that it wasn't just about bill's serial 'infidelities' - and that the 'deal' to keep their marriage going was in full knowledge of it. However I don't know that, what she knew and believed at the time. Thus the question about her role.

There isn't going to be a 'no fly zone' in Syria, and the whole world knows it.

I think it is more correct to say that there shouldn't be a 'no fly zone' in Syria. There are far too many people floating the idea of it, including Clinton, in the media for it to be completely out of the question.

I'm waiting for yours on why anyone should vote for someone responsible for a series of unprovoked wars that have destroyed numerous countries , who clearly intends to start more , and who oversaw a genocidal sanctions regime that killed around a million innocents. Half of them children .

I've made clear time and time again on this thread ..from the very first page...that Trump is a cunt, a buffoon , an idiot and a pretty disgusting human being. I'm not doing it again on your say so. Particularly given your own silence on much more heinous crimes. And the deafening silence of a few other mouthpieces .

So as regards your snootily asking for comments I suppose that.. Fuck you. I'm not jumping through your fucking hoops you smug little bastard ...will have to suffice as regards your impertinent request.
Quelle surprise! :hmm:

I think the allegation was that she hired others to do that for them both. I doubt very much she was personally hoking through bins in the middle of the night .

She most certainly did go on record as claiming all sexual allegations against her husband were a right wing conspiracy. That was plainly bollocks. So in that respect she personally undermined everyone who made a claim , whether consensual or non consensual, as a liar. A smear on their reputations that's plainly stuck .

It's alienation and it's also material conditions about jobs and uncertainty amid neoliberal globalisation.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is in fact true; or whether it's a story that Americans like to tell themselves in order to avoid the truth - that they are a nation deeply divided by attitudes toward race.

There's an interesting new documentary on Netflix called The 13th - referring to the 13th Amendment. It traces the course of civil rights, and the status of black people within US society, from slavery, through Jim Crow, to the present. It points out how white perceptions of black people have been manipulated for political and economic reasons.

Beginning with Richard Nixon, Republican politicians have played on white fear in order to get elected. It's arguable that inflaming this fear, via 'dog whistle' messaging, is what got Nixon, Reagan, and George H W Bush elected, not to mention a host of lesser Republican politicians.

Now we have Trump using the same tactic, but he's not so much using dog whistle messaging, as he's saying these things out loud - and his racist fan base is eating it up. He wants to be 'tough on crime'; i.e. get tough with blacks. He wants to ban Muslims from entering the country. He wants to deport Mexicans and build a wall. He questions the fitness of an American judge of Mexican heritage.

When Trump fans chant, they aren't chanting 'More jobs!'. They're chanting 'Build that wall!' Maybe they think that this will lead to personal economic benefit; but their primary solutions to America's problems are based in racism and xenophobia.

Do you ever stop and wonder about the sheer intensity and volume of emotion you put into your relationship with Hillary C?

Actually it was the general wave of bullshit - some of which might or might not be true - and not just the sexual stuff:

Vast right-wing conspiracy - Wikipedia

Does anyone else remember Andrew Cockburn writing about Clinton's Arkansas being a staging post on the Irancontra/Ollie North Cocaine trail?

I've certainly wondered why you follow me around the board so much . to the point I'm convinced you smother yourself in Vaseline ,clad only in a gimp mask and thigh high PVC boots , sitting on a cream cake in a bedsit with binliners on the floor. Flagellating yourself with a rubber chicken while you look for my posts.

That's the sort of person who does odd stuff like that.

Fuck it, you may be a loon, but you're good value, I'll give you that.

Re: Hillary! She'll Kill Every One of Us! Hillary! Maggie T's more . . .outlandish policy ideas to do with the north of Ireland were quietly shot down by her civil servants. Even if the Hillbot sits on the Throne of Skulls (thank you Kimble), will she really be able to overrule the saner voices in the US foreign policy/military establishment?

Something I've never been able to figure out. All these rabid anti-Clintonites consider her to be an evil liar. Trump called her 'the devil', and 'crooked Hillary'.

But then they allude to things she's said, in order to prove that she'll do something that they disapprove of.

The question is this: how do they know when 'crooked Hillary' is lying, or when she's telling the truth? Fact is, they can't. They just cherry pick in whatever way is necessary to advance their cause.

In other words, they're just as dishonest as their guru - that fucking idiot Trump.

True. They're doing it to try and influence the US election. Just like their hacking, aimed at influencing the US election.

Have you checked out her back room team recently ?

They're doing that for the same reason that Bush had that yellow to red meter for terrorism alerts. Its to scare people on the domestic front into falling in line with things they ordinarily wouldn't support. You ever notice how every time someone tried to oppose Bush that the terrorism alert went up a notch. That was no accident.

He's certainly got stamina. I'll give him that, at least.

Here's what yer man had to say on the subject:

Speaking with Wolf Blitzer in November 1999 in video reviewed by CNN's KFile, Trump said Hillary Clinton had been through more public controversy than any women should have to bear.

"I think she's gone through terrible times," Trump told Blitzer in the interview. "I think she's been through more than any woman should have to bear — everything public. I mean, women go through this on a private basis and can't take it, she's on the front page of every newspaper every week with what went on in Washington."
A month before, in an interview with CNBC, Trump expressed a similar sentiment about Hillary Clinton and blasted the independent investigator Ken Starr as "a total wacko."
"I think she's a very, very good person," Trump said of Clinton. "I think she's had a very tough life the last few years. I mean, what could be tougher than that? I mean, can you imagine those evenings when he's just being lambasted by this crazy Ken Starr, who is a total wacko? There's the guy. I mean, he is totally off his rocker. And can you imagine being lambasted like that all day and then saying, 'Darling, what are we having for dinner?' It's gotta be pretty tough."

Trump also repeatedly dismissed and at times mocked Bill Clinton's accusers.

In a 2008 interview with CNN, Trump called the Lewinsky scandal "totally unimportant" and said it was "nonsense" that Republicans tried to impeach him.

In another interview, with CNBC in 1998 and first unearthed by the Washington Post, Trump called Clinton accuser Paula Jones "a loser." In August 1998, Trump again dismissed Jones, and said Bill Clinton was actually the victim.
"I don't necessarily agree with his victims," Trump said to Fox News' Neil Cavuto in a clip uncovered earlier in the year by the "Daily Beast." "His victims are terrible. He is, he is really a victim himself. But he put himself in that position."

"These people are just, I don't know, where he met them - where he found them," Trump continued. "But the whole group — it's truly an unattractive cast of characters. Linda Tripp, Lucianne Goldberg, I mean, this woman, I watch her on television. She is so bad. The whole group, Paula Jones, Lewinsky, it's just a really unattractive group. I'm not just talking about physical."

Top post. This unexamined assumption that "alienation and material conditions about jobs and uncertainty amid neoliberal globalisation" is the explanation for Trump, just isn't good enough is it, unless you also think it's only white men who are alienated / anxious / economically insecure. And in any case why does the insecurity have to take this form, create this particular 'movement'.

That's the point: which things that a liar says are true; and which aren't?

You call her a liar when it suits you; and you decide she's telling the truth when it suits you.

Just like that fucking idiot Trump.

In this instance I pointed to her track record of warmongering and idiotic decisions , her stated beliefs and that of her advisors,

Which you completely ignore as it suits you

Just like that fucking trump idiot

There are underlying conditions and then there is the political system/party traditions/recent history and a host of other factors. Part of the answer about why Trump has less support from black voters, women and others is ... Trump. Trump's right wing, racist populism takes a particular form that means it's going to be very difficult - to say the least - for black voters and women to vote for him. That's also, in passing, why he will lose. But the 'possibility of Trump', has it's origins in real events and histories. As does brexit.
