We have already been over this, I can't be fucked to dig up the posts but basically it is nonsense. If Clinton didn't vote for the Iraq War then no one did, she was one of the war's biggest boosters and one of the most enthusiastic backers of Al-Qaeda and Saddam conspiracy theories to justify the war. She abandoned her support of the war late too, which allowed Obama to portray her as a pro-Iraq War candidate which she was and is.

I can't normally get Radio 4 but just caught someone on I think Woman's Hour saying that people like Trump are likely to actually believe that a woman is responsible for her husband's infidelities, which is why he's pushing it. Fair point I thought, I'd just assumed it was to have a go.

Sad truth is that there are plenty of women out there who will go for the likes of Trump. Infidelity is part and parcel of the deal for many of them.

Agreed, it's fucking bullshit. Trump is a vile misogynistic racist but no one should excuse the piece of shit that is Clinton.

She first started backtracking on it circa 2008 , when it had long become a politically toxic issue to support. Even then she wasn't against invading Iraq but blaming Bush for doing it wrong . In 2014 , after being destroyed by Obama over it and just before she ran again she ticked the " mistake " box . Saying next to nothing at all about such a massive " mistake " , and pretty much keeping schtum on the issue . But allowing her piss taking supporters to insult our intelligence with bollocks like that any time it's raised .

While beating the war drum for another "mistake " that'll make Iraq look like a picnic

Americans should vote for Donald Trump as president next month or risk being dragged into a nuclear war, according to a Russian ultra-nationalist ally of President Vladimir Putin who likes to compare himself to the U.S. Republican candidate.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a flamboyant veteran lawmaker known for his fiery rhetoric, told Reuters in an interview that Trump was the only person able to de-escalate dangerous tensions between Moscow and Washington.

By contrast, Trump's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton could spark World War Three, said Zhirinovsky, who received a top state award from Putin after his pro-Kremlin Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) came third in Russia's parliamentary election last month.

Many Russians regard Zhirinovsky as a clownish figure who makes outspoken statements to grab attention but he is also widely viewed as a faithful servant of Kremlin policy, sometimes used to float radical opinions to test public reaction....

Various people have been saying that Trumps real agenda is to drum up the publicity and support for a new media network to the right of Fox News. It's all a business ploy.

Starting to look more and more like that's the case. Leaving all his credulous supporters with egg on their faces. Except: they'll follow him to his new alt-right tv network, and watch every broadcast.

I wonder what the Russians mean: that if the US shoots down some of their planes, Putin will run into a bunker and hit the nuclear launch button, thus consigning the Russian population to annihilation?

If Putin would even consider doing such a thing, then he's a crazier, more fucked-up wacko than even Trump is.

Or is it just that Russia is taking a page from North Korea's book, threatening nuclear war every week - making them no better than that crazy, fucked-up wacko, Kim Jong Un?

Well they are trying to influence the vote for sure imo, whether this blows up in their faces in some way or another remains to be seen. I suspect that the financial links that have been reported on between Putin, Trump and their associates have some part to play.
 
The people of Cuba have struggled too long. Will reverse Obama's Executive Orders and concessions towards Cuba until freedoms are restored.

Might just be that he's acting the clown again, sounds like he's been praising Trump for a long time, especially policies like a Muslim ban and a giant border wall.

Putin spoke about the election today and he didn't sound that enthusiastic about either side, maybe he's realized that it would be no safer to give Trump nuclear launch codes that it would be to leave him alone in a room with a 13-year-old girl.

Donald Trump was recorded in 1992 joking about a little girl who was walking past him ... "I'll be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?"

The Entertainment Tonight video was just released on CBS News. You can't see Trump in the video, which was recorded around Christmas time inside Trump Tower. CBS says he was looking at a group of 10-year-olds walking past him when he made the comment, and you see the group of girls on a nearby escalator right after the comment.
