DHFC Women's Team

Great to get the first points on the board. Was 2-0 going on 12. One of them where nil flattered them.
Sounded like a gem of a new song to Summer Roberts too, from what I could make out from the table footie table. Love the high note ambition being shown in the songbook generally.

Buzz photo report:

Don’t know if anyone can help but what are the facilities like for supporters at Reserve team games on the training ground as I get the feeling this Sunday’s visit of Clapton CFC might see a decent turnout.

The team playing sway again this Sunday

I haven't been to Barking since the last time Hamlet men played there in the Isthmian Division 1 over 20 years ago. It's about a 15 minute walk from Upney tube station through Maysbrook Park, a rather pleasant public park, into Lodge Avenue. Anyone not wanting to walk can get off the tube one stop earlier at Barking and catch a number 5 bus to the top of Lodge Avenue.

Headstone Manor away in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round. This seems to be a standalone women's club with their own ground close to Hatch End Overground station, which is just inside Greater London to the north of Harrow.

First team home game. The Reserves have a few games too according to FA Full Time. Home to Brentford tomorrow and at home to CANDI United on Wednesday KO 7:45pm

Cracking 6-0 win yesterday, struggled in front of goal for the first 40 mins but as soon as Ceylon burst the net for the opener just before halftime, the floodgates opened.

Glad Eastbourne said they enjoyed it, because they were shattered by the end!
Only realised second half when side on that there was literally no one on their bench apart from a small child. No subs, coaches, physio…

Their website only shows 9 players - goalkeeper and 8 outfield. I assume, though might be wrong, that they are a relatively new team. That said, despite being completely outclassed for 90 minutes, they ran their hearts out for the entire game. Good luck to them for the future.
