It doesn't actually look as good on as I thought and I'm not sure if I'd have been better getting a medium or if that'd be even more unflattering. :/

I think it looks great! :)

Would a medium be smaller or bigger?
I don't think you want it smaller personally. That style is supposed to be a bit baggy huh?

Medium would be a size up. I usually end up with clothes that are too big because I think I'm bigger than I actually am  but I probably would've been ok with this. It was the last one in that size though so I don't want to go to the hassle of exchanging it only to decide that I preferred the small but not be able to change it back.

I think it looks just right on you personally.

Have you tried it with a winter jumper underneath? Personally I nearly always size up with coats.

I have some original English-made cherry red DM loafers from the 80s, and these are very similar, except made on a bigger last, and unlikely to take 6 weeks to break in :D
They still do some T-bar ones that I had when I was younger, that I fancy getting again.

Oh, and this:
CARPE DMs :D

I just whazzed round Boots chucking stuff in me basket. Got to the till. Kerching - £70! Seventy fucking quid!! I did this :eek::eek: then had to go through the humiliating experience of getting loads taken off the bill in front of a big queue :(

I have ordered some nail varnish from this place

It's natural and peels off. I've ordered the set in the pic, the red and blue twin set and a deeper red colour. Really looking forward to trying it.
So got these today. First impressions are great. Goes on really easily and smoothly and peels off easily, especially with more than one coat. Will report back how long it lasts!!

i do this everytime i go round superdrug - pop makeup in without remembering that it's 10-15 quid per item

So the edge of the nail varnish didn't last that well with typing today but I did a little top up and it covered up really well. I'm going to take the pot with me tomorrow for touch ups which will be easy as it doesn't smell and dried really quickly.
