Craft Club Meeting Sunday 29th April

So the plan is..

meet at mine at 1pm - dump stuff and go to this:

Brockwell Greenhouses
plant sale - all kinds of stuff. herbs, salads, flowers, veg, vines,
figs, fruit buses and cheesy nettle soup!

Come back afterwards and knit. :)


(1pm time can be pushed back if necessary but the greenhouses open at 11am and we don't want all the fruit buses to have driven off! :) ).

Anyone who doesn't know where I live pm me please. :)

sounds good GG - I'll be deciding on the day as I've got a busy saturday/night. Also need to get down the allotment one day this weekend. Maybe we should try for a saturday so we don't encroach on this?

you should come along - plenty of mini-vipper play possibilities in the park afterwards if you don't want to come for knitting - prolly gaijinboy would join you - he's a sucker for a pink cowgirl hat. :D
 
I'm up for this - I may even buy some plants to try and keep alive. Although I certainly will only gossip, not knit ..... Shamefully I still haven't bought any wool/needles! Surely I can get away with this being non-crafty while attending craft events b/c I am charming, right? :cool: :)
 
oh don't worry about that - the knitting is an excuse to gossip, eat, drink and just generally hang out :D . If the weather's good we can do it out back. :)

It must be huge - that's been going on for ages.. I've knit bits in various places - last one being at the Eden project... :)
 
Ooh - the Janster and I are up for this :)

I'm getting all enthusiastic about gardening since growing loads of seeds of different kinds this spring and watching them all sprout - including some beans from when we went to see Rapunzel which shot up 4 inches in about a week!!

So I can't wait to get me hands on more plants. :)

Wry - I'll join you in the ranks of the non-knitters. I know the origami was a bit of a disaster last time :D , so maybe we can think of something else....

How about homemade U75 tattoos? ;)

I have noticed. It was the silver trousers that finally convinced me.

Have some things to do on Sunday - replacing broken camping gear before the following weekend. Next time maybe....

I was well looking forward to this but now my dad has decided to come round for Sunday lunch. We invited him round about 3 months ago and he never replied so I assumed I was free to make other plans... But no :mad:

I'm going to Badger Kitten's wedding this weekend, but if we get back in the afternoon on Sunday I might pop in. :)
