Sunday Roast polite discussion thread.

Have you considered thinking outside the box and having a Yorkshire pudding with lamb or pork? The first time I dared, I was trembling and waiting for the knock on the door from the police, but it never came. I'm quite casual about it now.
Where does the hot beef fat / dripping come from to coat your yorkshire tin?

Posh frozen is an oxymoron.

ETA as is Aldi's posh.

Duck all wrong with frozen. Some of us aren't able to cook complicated stuff. I'm certainly not so the roast I'm having later (or tomorrow) will be frozen potatoes, frozen sprouts and parsnips and one of them ready roast 3 for a tenner efforts from Iceland.

What kind of horrific trauma do you have to go through to somehow end up not liking gravy :( Like how is that even possible. Incomprehensible
As a pretty much lifelong vegetarian, gravy and soup were my nemeses - far too many meals were rendered uneatable by someone pouring a meat-based gravy over my otherwise unsullied vegetables, so that I couldn't even just eat them and leave the meat.

Even today, I harbour a deep suspicion of gravy :hmm:

I know, why would you deny yourself a Yorkshire pudding just because you’re having chicken or lamb? There’s plenty of other shit the plate can do without.
I don’t agree with your views on gravy though. Ever had it on chips? 😂

Yes but there’s no such thing as a roast dinner like what you describe.

Onion gravy will sort you out.

Once again, Sunday roast advertised as coming with four vegetables. In what fucking universe is cauliflower cheese a fucking vegetable?
