I did already have it bookmearked but I've never spent that much on a bike in my life. It's less than 6 months oyster money but chuck on a helmet, mudguards and stuff and it's a lot of dosh.
Edinburgh bike coop have the same bike as Badgers xxl for 450. I should research more.Speed is optional. Helmets can be acquired from PlanetX for less than 20 quid. Its summer, you don't need mudguards yet.

Because they weigh over 20kg? Perfect in the NL, not so much anywhere less than flat.
They're okay for bike lanes and popping down the shops but not ten mile plus commutes with patchy bike lane provision. Very slow stopping and starting at lights and I'm planning to start stopping for them.

A good allrounder bike it is XXL so suitable for 6ft plus. Carbon forks. Light enough to put on your shoulder and carry. Fixing points for front and rear racks. Pedals are bog standard. I have had the bike for approx.www.ebay.co.uk
But if I bought one and didn't like it I reckon I could get my money back two weeks later selling it on no problem.
I’d have a look in EU countries at discount sites. There seems to be reasonable stock and they deliver to the UK.
