Just thinking - if sojourner hires a private jet to the US we could all go on holiday. If we ate enough lentils in advance we could also go supersonic - fuck you Concorde.

Looking forward to visiting the possum sanctuary that I'm sure petee will be a generous patron of.

Although at my local big Tesco they sell the 10-20kg bags of Basmati rice but the per-kilo cost works out higher than buying individual kilos. Banking on people being bad at maths, maybe?

Some people are funny about basmati rice, some brands are supposedly better than others*, so it might not be comparing like with like in terms of quality, ie the cheaper per kilo small bags might be inferior quality basmati rice to the big sacks, which might still be a good deal for that brand.

* According to my Pakistani friend who makes the best ever pilau rice.

This is how I fed myself in my late teens when I first left home Life was so much easier back then! No rent, utility bills, insurance, phones, fucking grocery prices. Everything free I was also an excellent mine sweeper haha.

We place an order with Lembas quite a few times a year, they do bulk and are more aimed at trade so have quite a high minimum order. Get things like lentils and spices in bulk. Really cheap for somethings but not others.
